What Are YOUR Goals?

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

My goal is to lose weight approximately 50lbs by the end of November I have already lost 60 lbs. I have lost weight before but as I exercise I put on muscle it is an unfortunate reaction of my body now as I grow older I do not want big muscles I just want my weight to a healthy level. I am the same age as Mohammed Ali and when he first fought Sonny Liston I had the same measurements as he except for one he had a 4 inch longer reach so I would like to be 210lbs again settle for 230lbs on account of my age. With your help I feel I have a reasonable chance of achieving my goal the success to date bears testimony

My goal for the next 16 weeks: to be on the way to a body/lifestyle transformation. Specifically, that means losing weight (my goal is 30 lbs. in 16 wks), having made exercise (both aerobic and strenth training) a daily habit, thereby reducing fat and building muscle/increasing strength, and making healthier eating/drinking choices on a regular basis a habit. I’ve let myself go over the years after children and menopause, and I’m very out of shape and unhappy about it – and instead of continuing to drown my sorrows in another chocolate milkshake, I realize it’s time to make some positive changes to affect a more positive outcome. You know what they say…keep doing what you’ve been doing and you’ll keep getting what you’ve got.

My goal is stick to my exercise and eating plan. I will be strong and not succumb to emotional eating. I plan to lose 8kgs in the next 16 weeks.

My big goal is to loose another 5 – 10 kg and tone more before I hit 40 in mid September. I would love to have a 6 pack. I think it is there but covered by the 5kg I want to loose. I alternating between resistance training one day (full body) and intervals the next with one to two days off a week. I think the hardest part is weekends when I find the healthy eating the hardest. And I get tied by the end of the week. Any tips, motivation or kick up the butt would be appreciated.

I’m 5′ 3.75″ (yes, that 3/4″ is important!) 131 lbs (last I checked–today was my last day on XFLD and I’ll be weighing tomorrow morning), and my goal is to be 120-ish lbs and drop 3-5% more body fat.

Aw, heck. I say those numbers all nice and straightforward, but really, my goal is less about the numbers and more about the mirror: I’m going to get rid of the flab on my tummy and back and arms and thighs, whatever the scale says.

Hi Joel

My continuous goal is to lose a little more body fat from my abdominal area. I am 164 cm in height and weigh 55 kgs. I am pleased with my definition all over but after four pregnancies I am finding it harder to trim down my stomach enough to see my abs. I am not sure if this is possible but will keep trying.

I’ve reached a plateau in life somewhere along the line I gave in. My goal is to loose the love handles and flatten out my stomach, re ignite the fire and take charge again

my 16 week goal is to lose all my body fat and get a six pack. i think i will finish before that because i got your xtreme fat loss diet. but after that i want to build muscle and A LOT of straingth(bench up to 300 pounds. but i know this one will take a wile)

By the end of 16 weeks, I am going to lose 40 lbs. I am 38 years old, 5′ 4″ and weigh 158 lbs. My goal is to be very lean with good muscle tone. I started Xtreme Fat Loss and only made it 2 weeks. I got discouraged when I saw weight gain in the second week. Lame excuse, I know, but it became a mental road block. I have all the supplements and I am not letting them go to waste! No excuses. No excuses. No excuses.

I am 10 kilos lighter and fit into my size 10 trousers as I bike to the opening weekend of a new rowing year.

I can hold my finishes, control my blade and compress to front stops with ease and grace.

I am 59 years old and all my weight (phat) is in my lower body. I weigh 74kg and would love to weigh 65kg. My excersise plan is walking ups and downs daily for about 15min. and I plan on going 5min. more every day till I walk for about an hour. Will I lose the phat, I really hope so.

By August I want to lose about 10 Lbs of fat and go from having a 4 pack to having a proper 6 pack for summer. I’m currently doing the 100 pushups program and cycling about 200 miles a week (in preparation for a charity event) in order to achieve it.

16 week goal. I want to lose 25 lbs (approx.) and increase activity. I don’t really want to bulky musle I want sleek and toned look. Basically just feel better, healthier.
