What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I am 62 years old and my goal is to lose 40 lbs and gain healthy muscle tone all over.

My goals: 36″ vertical, 8% bodyfat, sub 4.8 second 40 yard dash, 8-pack abs, V-tapered body–basically turn my 40 yr. old body back to a 24 yr. old one. Also training my 13 yr. old daughter on a jump training program.

Joel, I’m having a hard time even getting started. The Cheat Program seems kind of confusing…I know you say it’s “easy”, but that’s not what it looks like. Do you have a “Cheating for Dummies” version?
Thanks, KB

I need to pack on some solid muscle and lose some annoying fat as well. I’m 6’1 210lbs at 21 and need to get back into 300 shape for halloween baby! I did it before and I’ll do it again. Your insight has helped me a lot, so thanks.

I may be too late to add to the total, but thought I’d share anyway.

Weight loss is NOT my goal. It’s a step toward my goal of being a better dancer – yes, a better-looking dancer, too. My other goals relate to “bucking the trend” in my family – to be in shape enough before kids that I’m not terribly out of shape after having them, and to not become diabetic at or around age 50.

I’m 23 years old and have been gaining weight little by little for about 4 years now. i’ve gained about 50 lbs in that time.
My goal would be to drop 80 lbs and go from 27% bf to eventually under 10%

I am going to loose body fat and a few lbs. I work out every day biking or walking. I have a limited range of motion in my shoulders but lift 10 lb weights
three times a week and do my ab work outs. At 52 I am going to be the hottest cougar around. ggrrrr.. I have always wanted sexy abs and I WILL get them.

my hardest thing is dropping my body fat.. and I have been adding protein
and cutting fats and carbs.

My goal is to loose my fat stomach. I had surgery on my shoulder a few years ago for torn rotator cuff and I am limited to what I can do, I also had hysterectomy and gained 50 lbs in my stomach area. I can’t seem to loose it. I can not do regular situps. I walk 30 minutes a day at lunch time and I have an exercise bike I get on in the evenings. I need any help someone can offer as to what I can do about loosing weight and my stomach. I already do pretty good on food, as I rarely eat sweets or bad foods. So any suggestions, I am all ears.

Hi, I am going to lose 8kg of fat and gain 5kg of muscle within the next 16 weeks

I have recently decided to revamp my workouts. I’ve been doing resistance training for a while now and feel the need to change things up. I am working on some new ‘routines’ for the RT workouts and plan to add HIIT.

My ultimate goal is to have lost a total of 90 lbs (from my start weight) and have that sleak, lean, toned body I’ve always wanted. For the next 16 weeks I would like to shed at least 20-25 lbs of fat (more if I can) while continuing to tone and build lean muscle.

In 16 weeks i want to have 10 more lbs of muscle and be deadlifting 315 for 3 reps and clean and pressing 225

hi!!!! I’m Aleks. I’m 28, my height is 5’10” and 174 pounds. I don’t complaint about my physicallity but my look is more like a lean fatty, my goal is, first to lose body fat like around 12 pounds and then gain those 12 pounds in lean hard muscle. I’m not sure how I going to make it but I will do it.

My goal is to reach mid-single digit body fat by the end of July. Clocked in today at 9.8% (yaaay !) so have 6 more weeks to achieve it.

My goal for the next 16 weeks is to gain muscle and lose fat. I split it into sub-goals to encourage me to finish. I am cycling my carbs and have my cardio and weight training routines down, now all i need to do is finish! I know i can do it. I hope everyone will push them selves to finish what they started because in the end it will be worth all the hard work.

Ok, I just started trying to get back into shape and lose some weight, along with getting healthy along the way!

So, I am now at 145 lbs. and the goal I am shooting for is to be at 115 by the end of this year. I want to lose at least 25 in the next 16 weeks. I will be starting the Cheat Your Way Thin program on Sunday, and am excited to see what results I will glean from it!!!

Wish me luck!!

My first step is to lose 10 kilograms an see if I need to lose more and add muscle.

My goal in the next 16 weeks is to lose enough fat to have a well defined set of abs. I have always wanted that. After that I might bulk on some muscle if I am not satisfied with the lean me. I hope that everyone will achieve their goals. Good luck all!

Just wanted anyone who is reading this to know that JOEL MARION IS A LIAR!!!! I purchased his Cheat Your Way Thin program, gave it an honest try, and because I didn’t see any results, I requested my money back. He has not responded to 5 e-mails and he removed me from his e-mail list (probably so I’d forget that he exists). He has an “iron-clad” money back guarantee, but he doesn’t stick to his word. If you don’t want to be cheated, don’t buy his program unless you want to keep it.

My 16 week goals are too;
1. Get weight down to 64kg (currently 67-68 kg)
2. To reduce my body fat % from about 20% at present to 15%
3. To be able to do 3 sets of 3 chin ups in a minute.
4. To be able to do the tractor tyre body roll lift in the circut training session at my fight gym.
4. To win my fight on May 22nd.
5. To get back into my rocking pink frock to go dancing to celebrate!
5. To do all this while eating more! I especially miss cheese and spuds!

My goal is to lose 30 lbs total weight. I want to feel comfortable wearing arm bearing shirts & fit into the designer clothes that I love so much! Bigger picture, my goal is to have a more balanced eating lifestyle, since just when I’m seeing results I fall off the wagon and lose motivation for months at a time.

I would like to loose a few more kilos over the next 16 weeks, but as I’m 3 months pregnant with my 7th baby that is not going to happen! My new goal is to keep the weight gain to a minimum during this period now that the morning sickness has lifted.

My goal is to loose at 20 – 25 lbs of fat and gain as much muscle as possible, while training myself to get into the habits of exercising, lifting and eating right as a lifetime commitment. For a long term goal, I want to be in the best shape of my life before my 50th birthday, this time next year!
