What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

Hi,

My name is Paul. I’m 36, 6.1″ and 181 lbs. Although I’m happy with my weight, I would like reduce the old love handles, firm up the chest a bit and consume more vegetables in my diet.

Hi
I’m 16 years old male, 171 cm(5’7”) and about 53 kilos (117lbs) and I want to gain 4lbs of muscle if it isn´t too much ( I don’t know if it is realistic or not). I also want to be ripped.

I am almost 49 years old and wish to lose 11 more pounds. I’ve lost 9 since the first of April. I am trying hard to eat more vegetables and have really reduced my carb intake but it is still a struggle. It is very strange because at 146 lbs my measurements are almost exactly what they were when I weighed 136 lbs ten years ago, so apparently my work outs have created heavier muscles. I want to get down to 135 lbs and wear a size 8.

My goal is to lose 7 kilos of fat and to build my muscle. I am in my late fifties so accept that progress may be slower than that of a younger person

Currently, I’m 5′ 9″, 182 lbs, body fat around 12%. I’d like to drop my bodyfat to within the range of 6-8%, while keeping my hard-earned muscle.

I’m currently 275 pounds, 6’1, in the mid 20’s bodyfat percentage wise according to a handheld BEI device. My goal in the next 16 weeks is to drop between 40-50 pounds of bodyfat, keep increasing my lifts, and build more lean body mass.

I am above 60 yrs old but still active although not capable of doing strenuous exercises. My 16-week goals : to flatten my belly although I have normal body fat and to build muscles within my capabilities. What would you recommend?

I’m 64, 6 ft, 145 lb, 8%BF and try to consume 3000cal a day. Workouts are 3 x week to failure. Highest wt ever was 178 w/16%BF. I want to get to 165 again. Always been a hardgainer. I’m thinking of going back to basics with just Deadlifts.

My 16-week goal is to lose 20 pounds. Small steps, but significant…
Two years ago I made the decision to have weight loss surgery. My weight was nearly 300 pounds, my diabetes was worsening even though I was on 4 insulin shots a day, and I had tried almost every diet without success. I lost 95 pounds the first year and am off all my medications, so things have drastically improved, but my weight loss had stopped.
I’m back on track working out and following the plan. Looking forward to getting rid of the rest of that fat that just doesn’t want to leave!

Hi Joel,
I´m a 19 years old female. 25% body fat, 68 kg and 166cm tall. My goal is to reduce body fat to 15-18%, don´t care that much about my weight (let´s welcome the muscle!) if I can see six packs abs, reduce waist line to 65 cm and finally wear those size 4 dresses/pants… (right now I´m size 6-8).
Love to workout, les mills bodypump resistance training 3/4 times a week and dancing, spinning or kick boxing during off-days

Hello Joel,

My name is GymPixie, starting Monday and ending October 12th I will reach my goal weight of 110 lbs with 10% or less body fat. I realize that in order to achieve this goal I must be deligent with my nutrition and stay focussed and committed to my exercise program.

I am a 21 year old female. I am about 62 in. tall and weigh 121 pounds. My goal is to go from 26.6% body fat down to 14-16%. I’d also like to gain about 5-7 pounds of muscle after I burn the fat. If I can achieve a 24-25 in. waist that would be awesome.

Hi, I’m Andrew. I’m a 17 year old male, and I over the next 16 weeks I intend to start eating better and healthier, and also to start going to the gym much more often to build some muscle mass.

I am 57 years old and at the age of 45 I had major surgery and since then I have gained 50 pounds. I am sick of having a fat stomach, I would love to get rid of my flat stomach, actually have a flat stomach, no love handles and tone up my arms and legs. This is my goal and I now walk 30 minutes a day, fast walk during part of my lunch hour at work and when I come home I have an exercise bike I get on and also a weider weight machine, where I do chest, arm and leg exercises on. I am trying my best to eat better, I rarely eat sweets and I am plain and simple tired of being fat. I want to feel better. Anything you can tell me to help me is great. However I did have shoulder surgery as well, so I have to be careful and I had a slipped disc in my back so I am somewhat limited to what I can and can’t do. Mostly more than anything, I want to at least loose 50 pounds and loose my fat stomach.

16 weeks… I want to loose 10 kgs, switch to the maintenance phase of your Cheat your Way Thin and ease off somewhat of this diet. Mind you, it is better than most (I am able to stick to it for the most part, which says it all!) and I do appreciate the cheat day! ;-) I am also hoping the weight loss and the added exercise will make me stronger, more flexible and more fit, and ease the pain in my joints, which are somewhat of an impediment to exercise right now. (Never thought it could happen, the years crept on me. I am 57 and want to remain active and fit for quite a while yet!!)

My goal is to lose fat, on the order of 20 pounds, in the next 16 weeks. I have extra motivation because I’m getting married in January. Plus I’m on doctor’s orders to lower my BMI. Let’s do this!!!

My goals are in the next 16 weeks::

1. To stop comfort eating.
2. Reduce alcohol intake.
3. Consistenly exercise (hard because it’s winter here)
4. Drop 3kg of fat while maintaining muscle.
5. Enjoy doing all the above.
