What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I’ve never worn a bikini in my life. Not as a kid, a teen, and certainly not in my 20’s or early 30’s. I’m a size 3/4 but just can’t bring myself to wear one due to being very self conscious about my butt and arms. My goal is to tighten my booty, improve my abs, and most especially get DEFINITION in my delts (I want delts!). All of that so that in sixteen weeks I can put-on a bikini for the first time in my life. As silly as that sounds, it would be a dream for me to gain that confidence in my appearance. And you two seem to be the guys that could actually help me to get there. Thank you! :)

Over the last year I lost almost 40 lbs but only 6% bodyfat. Then the plateau. Vince Del Monte recommended TRX and I want to take it to the next level and lose another 20 lbs and get down to 10% +/- bodyfat. I know that this is the hardest part, so I am looking forward to blasting this with the addition of TRX. This seems like the missing ingredient to the traditional weightlifting programs.
Thanks,
Caleb

My goal is to learn to use the trx to the utmost of it’s capacity to build strength and endureance. I will be using the trx not only here, but when I leave and go into the mission field, it will be my gym and I need to learn how to get the most out of it. I did use it some in the military but now I need to take it with me into the mission field. Thanks Tj

My goal is to jump start my exercise routine and start a lifestyle change so I can be here for my new son, and show him how to live a healthy lifestyle.

I have a multi-faceted 16 week goal. Initially to get into the amazing shape I once had, which is tight lean muscles weighing in @ 135-140lbs, (last time was when I was 40 before I gave birth). I am a female turning 56, I began lifting free weights 31yrs ago, I loved it and wanted to pursue competing but at that time I was a female pioneer, Rachel McLish just became the 1st Ms. Olympia, Cory Everson wasn’t even in the picture yet! But I was not supported by anybody. I was told I was too old, and needed to move to LA. And I put my dream aside. Years later I was going to enter the First Body for Life contest with the goal of winning it, becoming famous and start my fitness career but my Wall Street career was flourishing and involved travelling and to be honest I followed the money. So goal #2 is to join a contest and transform myself and then start that fitness business I always was passionate about. I need accountability and learn all the new stuff in fitness and nutrition. I’ve been following you guys for awhile, Joel longer. I know the TRX will be better for my aging body, If you guys randomly pick me I know I will have amazing before & after pictures, my muscle memory is strong. It will be so wonderful that it’ll propel women in their 50’s+ to work out without fear of muscles, etc. I cant believe that even today women are still afraid of resistance training, especially the older gals like me! So, It’ll help get that market for you. My 3rd goal is to create a fitness competition for the real woman masters! It’s never too late to follow your dreams and also be in great shape and I’m out to prove it and create more energy and health. There I said it all, I put it out to the universe.

I’m 55 years old, and have been working out most of my life, and have followed a healthy eating regimen. I have always been in very good shape. I’m just getting over a bicep tear, and haven’t really worked out too much, in close to 5 months.

I NEED TO GET MOTIVATED AGAIN. I would like to see my abs again; would like to be less than 10% bodyfat. Starting to see the handles!!! This is just what I need. Thanks for considering me.

My goal is to get as fit and strong for the next16 weeks and to continue to use what I will learn for the rest of my life. I also want to pay this forward and motivate and pass on the information that I will embrace wholeheartedly.
I am 56 years old and I do all those obstacle mud runs. I want to be better at them and learn to fuel my body and mind for all the ‘obstacles’ that lay ahead.
Thanks much.

My goal is to gain strength, muscle mass, lose bodyfat and increase cardiovascular endurance in the next 16 weeks. I’m still recovering from a torn patellar tendon from last year and it has taken me a lot longer to recover than I expected. I would like to be at 10% bodyfat at 200lb’s, which is a good lean athletic weight for me. I want to be able to do a 6 minute mile, 20 pull-ups, bench 300lb’s and Squat 300lb’s 10 times.

My goal is to be at 140-145lbs and 8%body fat, I am currently 127lbs close to 11-12%bf. my career ahead of me is to be a personal trainer and a physical therapist, I have come so far as it is being 180 and %30+bf, and changed to what I am now in one year. I am looking for another rush like that, to break through, to “shatter” through I should say this plateau I have been sitting at for a couple months.

My goal is to lose 35 lbs, learn about nutrition so may keep the weight off, and stay lean. Losing the weight will give me more confidence in all that I do. I

I’ve been recovering from a knee injury.. meniscus and ACL. Almost six months sidelined. My doc said I can resume training in a couple of weeks. I need to lose the seven pounds I’ve gained (plus a extra ten would be nice), restore overall strength, and continue to build from there.
Thanks ツ

I have recently qualified as a Personal Trainer, but my body is not where it needs to be. My 16 week goal will be to lose fat (specifically belly fat), and some extra kilos too (6kgs to be precise). I want to tone up so that I look the part of a PT. I have had a lower back fusion and various other sporting injuries which are frustrating as my Range of Motion is not the best. I know that I can improve in all spheres – both inside with sound nutritional advice, and outside, with the correct guidance from the experts :)

My goal is to lose 30-40 pounds of body weight, strengthen my core and improve my overall health and endurance. I will be turning 50 in July, and my weight is at a lifetime high. The time to make the healthy changes is NOW. I am drowning in information and I am looking for some clear direction, accountability and a bit of a push.

I am 74 years of age(I am not old). Three and a half years ago, I had a double bypass operation. I would like to lose about 14 pounds of fat around my middle and get a good fitness program, because at the moment I am very unfit. I have received a lot of Joel’s emails and am very impressed with his information. I hope you can help me. Regards

Hi, I’m Armando Martinez and my goals are to become fit and become an athletic person after the 16 weeks of training. I am 17 about 220 5’10” and I feel that I have alot of potential that hasn’t been unlocked yet. Basically I need someone to push me to work harder every time, improving myself everyday. I am also going to try out for linebacker for vasity football next year and this training would be the greatest preparation to be a star player, all I need is that push.

As a teenager I was obese, weighing in at 266lbs at 19 years old. The transformation I have undergone since has been nothing short of remarkable, but I have still retained some bodyfat (currently about 18-19%) and lacked some upped body strength. I can’t say that this doesn’t affect my confidence – even with the relatively low amount of bodyfat I have I’m not comfortable at the beach or in a changing room. I feel like I have hit a plateau in my training, and it is my wish to get the beach body that I feel I deserve after years of hard work. I’m ready for that last push.

Hi, I have received your posts for a few years and I have listed down below what I do and my goal websites. I have always wanted to get my abs and be in the best shape I can be in because I want others to look at me and say “wow” if she went through all that and has managed to keep in shape so can I. Being that I was in a car crash I am an inspiration to many others on bodybuilding.com that come to my website. A body group I just started called:

“Words of Inspiration for Fitness” http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/dawn3788/

I am 41 years old and I work out all the time, eat healthy as best as I can and the scale hardly ever moves. I want to lose 20-25 pounds not that I am over weight and alot of people look at me and think I am a body builder. They say to me hope to see you at the next show. LOL

Go on my websites and check out my modeling fitness pictures. I want to lose weight but not have to work out so hard. YOU WOULD BE HELPING ME TREMENDOUSLY! I cannot do what everyone else can do because it is hard for me to keep my balance. Will you help me? Here is what I do. God bless you :)

Dawn Marie O’Brien is the president/founder of a fast-growing organization called “Dawn’s Heartfelt Corner.” In 2000, she was in a very dangerous car crash and almost died. A drunk driver slammed into the right side of her vehicle which left her with catastrophic consequences that almost killed her.

Dawn had to have brain surgery on the right side of her brain because she was hemorrhaging badly. The doctors shaved the whole right side of her hair and told her husband that she may not live. They said if Dawn lives she will not remember anything from her past. Yet, today, she can remember everything and there is no trace of amnesia! It’s a miracle she is alive.

Dawn’s goals are to encourage others to take care of their bodies by prayer, having faith, eating healthy, and exercising in our busy lives we live. Go on her website and read her whole testimony. She keeps very busy with her non-profit organization and she has over 25 books soon to be published. Dawn has been featured on TV, radio, and in magazines. You may go on her website and check it out at: http://www.dawnsheartfeltcorner.org

Physical fitness has always played a very important role in her life, staying healthy and in shape. When she was younger she spent several years learning in the gym, reading books, articles, and magazines about physical fitness/nutrition. She believes that because of our busy lifestyles we don’t get the proper nutrition/exercise that is needed to stay healthy. We then get sick and want a quick fix, but God has taught us how to eat and it is important we take care of our temples.

Here is what they had to say:

MM’s Dawn Obrien taking strides as a fitness model

Congratulations to Model Mayhem’s Dawn O’Brien for her continuous success as a fitness model. She has been on the cover of FemmeXposure Magazine twice, in addition to being featured as a fitness model on Shapefit.com and in Natural Muscle Magazine. Dawn has also been featured on numerous health and fitness sites. Her story is remarkable, because back in 2000, she was in a very dangerous car crash and almost died. After the accident, she had to have complex brain surgery. The doctors told her husband that there is a high chance that if she lives she will not remember anything. Miraculously, she survived, suffered no memory loss at all and is now thriving as a fitness model/writer. Here is what Dawn had to say about modeling, “Modeling is a very competitive industry and it’s important to realize thousands of girls want to become models. Don’t become discouraged and give up on your dream.”

HERE IS WHAT ONE READER HAS SAID:

“I read a story on a featured model, in your magazine. Her story was truly inspiring. The same thing happened to my beauteous daughter and I. A very negligent individual, hit my Benz, and totaled it, and changed my life forever. Thank God, she and I survived. I am a fitness/lingerie model, aiming to enrich, enlighten and encourage, those souls, whom are lost.”

Hey Joel,I’m 13 years old I know,I know people will say I’m too young for something like this but my determination about getting in shape will not stop me.
I’ve been working out for a year with bodyweight training from (Mike Whitfield,Craig Ballantyne,Shaun Hadsall,Insanity and You) but sadly am not seeing any results so far.I follow your diet programs but still have not seen results from since i started working out.I really need this to finally have a breakthrough in this non-stop cycle, frustrating fat around my midsection. It would be truly an honor to have this workout program.

So I am 22 and I am the biggest I have ever been I have started to wrok out and am proud to say I have lost 24lbs in 3 months but I know that with a nutrition plan I will be able to lose even more weight I am loking to lose at least 80lbs in 16 weeks I am willing to do what it take being as big as I am right now is not a good thing since diabetes and high blood pressure runs in my family now is the time to take action while I still can and where I am still able to all I need is the information and help to get me to my goal

My goal is to lose 40-5 pounds. I have been yo-yo-ing for a while now with about ten pounds. But there is so much more I need to lose. I want to be healthy and strong for my kids. I want to not only tell them what they should do, but show them. I try not to look at myself in the mirror because I HATE the way I look, and while I am motivated, ok, I’m nit motivated, I just really want this.

My goal is to drop 80 pounds. I’m currently 6’3, 285. I’m very strong physically, but have no endurance. I’ve been an athlete my entire life, but have never looked the part. Now I’m 27, with a wife and two kids. I want them to see me as a picture of health and happiness, and as a good role model.

Reply  |  Quote

O.k… Here it is… My Goal is to SIMPLY LIKE MYSELF AGAIN… To Actually look in the Mirror and see THE BEST I CAN BE! See… I use to work out ALOT And was busy with my Son Noah who was born with a rare Cerebal palsy with lots of medical fragilities… I did a lot of his care and PT on the stability ball and incorporated him in my every work out or activities when possible!! Well I lost My noah on July 18, 2009 he passed away after a surgery gone very wrong! he was only 10 yrs old… I LOST MYSELF when I lost him… I went from day to day still trying to live and go about what I use to do… I slowly stopped doing things I once did like everyday activites and my working out I use to enjoy ALOT and once Liked ME… Then I became someone I didn’t know, my husband didn’t know or my daughter didn’t know anymore… last year I started to TRY to start working out again trying to get The right advise what to do ect… I am only 4’10” tall and at the time weighed about 98lbs but that was more than I usually weighed especially without the lean muscle so I was MUSHY and well I was then Now 38 and finding it harder and harder to get that extra inches and lean muscle again… I was overtraining then I FIANLLY lost inches , weight and muscle down to about 90lbs… was finally somewhat happy at what I was seeing but… To stay there hardly eating and working out 3-4 hours daily it was all I seemed to be living for… just to stay there! Then.. I got sick bad around Christmas time 2012 and my schedule of working out became less then 2 hours a week down to hardly half hour week I simply couldn’t eat and I was feeling weak no energy to do anything this time though I started to loose weight Iam now at 84-85lbs but not lean muscle anymore… feeling sqishy EVERYWHERE I just don’t know where to go from here I want to start to workout again, eat right But Know EXACTLY How and when to do what so I don’t let it Consume me anymore, I need YOUR HELP I do not know how else to do it… I saw your email and thought THIS IS MY CHANCE I don’t have the money I am desperate for the Perfessional help YOU are the guys to help me! So my goals would be to… Start to eat better, get myself an exercise schedule and know what day to do strength verses cardio… how much I do of each, how to get my life organized again, Make time for my family and not let them watch me just EXCIST but TO LIVE AGAIN, to be as TEAM With my husband once again to be the wife and Mother That he deserves and my daughter deserves… She lost her brother, he lost his son I don’t want them to loose their wife and Mom… I feel like they are slowly watching me die… Please pick me and help me change my life. Thankyou… I know I have so so many more goals with THE MOST #1 is to LIVE AND LOVE Myself again to give My all to my family…. But I know IT HAS TO START with me and I need the help!! Thank you!!

Hii Joel and Dan,

I am Nayeema, a 26 years Bangladeshi girl. I am still unmarried. Since my childhood I have been a chubby girl. I could never get a chance of seeing my self in an attractive outfit whether its a gown, saree or skinny jeans. Always tried to hide my ugly belly with loss outfits. When I reached my teen hood, while seeing other attractive skinny girls are in my age, I started feeling inferior which badly affected my confidence label. Since few years I have been striving to loss my weight but could not get any success. Its not that I never thought of going to a dietitian but they are that good and effective as I thought and also very expensive. At one point I lost all my inspiration. I also tried to buy books and videos which you used to offer in discount rate but in Bangladesh I could not get any access with the payment system. So the only option I have been left is online training. When I saw your this 16-weeks offer, I just totally got mad for it.

Anyways my 16 weeks plan is to get a proper shape. I want to loss MINIMUM 20 kg or around 50 pounds. I am right now 82 kg with 170 centimeter height. I am ready to take all sort of challenges you might offer. Honestly Joel and Dan, from now on I started seeing my dream of getting an attractive beautiful figure is going to be true soon.

Thanks a Lot buddies for this amazing offer
