Your approach is new to me, but I have been stuck for a while with 55 lbs. of extra weight, a lot of it around the belly. Guide me through your best stuff in 16 weeks. My goal is to lose 25 pounds and six to eight inches off the belly. I would love to shatter that goal.
Thanks

My 16 week physique goal is as follows –
I’d like to go from my current 97kg at approximately 12-13% bodyfat, to closer to 100kg, at 10% or less. So in essence, I’d like to add another 2-3 Kg, whilst dropping 2-3% in bodyfat. I’m a personal trainer and strength coach/Bodybuilding prep coach, however, with setting up my own business shortly, to have my training and nutrition tailored for me by 2 experienced guys like yourselves, would be a huge bonus. Not only would it help me achieve my desired physique, it will allow me to get out of my own head with regards to this side of my life, and concentrate on building my PT company. I have aspirations of getting on a WBFF stage at some point in the near future also, so this could be the one of the answers to help in achieving that goal. I have followed both of you extensively so am familiar with your approaches, and to work with you both for 16 weeks would allow me to gain more knowledge that I may then be able to pass on to clients and others in the future.
Cheers
Oh my goodness….my goal in 16 weeks is to shed 50 lbs. With a lot of hard work, clean eating I know this can be done. From hitting the gym hard and a lot of discipline I lost 45lbs in 3 months about 4yrs ago only to gain it plus back. Unfortunately after having acl surgery on my knee I fell back into bad habits. I have 3 teenage boys who are very athletic and looking to mom to help them. To learn and train with both of you would allow me to be able to teach them and help me finally succeed in my own life style change and make this one habit that sticks through utilizing both of your talents. I recently quit smoking and am so determined to show my boys anything and everything is possible when you put your heart and mind to it…also I’m beyond tired of being the fat chick I want my husband to look at me and be proud….I want to look at me and be proud but it’s very hard to do right now.
Thank you for giving all of us who struggle a chance to win a great reward of your time and expertise.
Great so my goal is some more muscle and performance development. I actually do not need to loose weight because I was always thin and did build some muscle very hard in years so I would like to not get stuck in my development. And I like working out.And I also love to share advice with other people interested in how to improve condition, feel better and loose some fat when I learn more about it.
I’m 55 yo woman now and past 2 years have been struggling with my weight. I have a strict eating plan; no sugar, no wheat (no glutein at all), no junk, lots of simple protein + veggies. I exercise (weight training x 2 – 3/week + cycling + walking + jogging with my dog). Nothing helps, I’ve been gaining almost 15 lbs fat in past two years! I know it is my hormones that are not in balance at all. My goal is to melt 15 – 20 pounds fat and gain more muscle. I have nice muscle under that ugly fat but now I only look bulky! I need really help because I don’t know what should I change. I have Dans suspension program already + TRX at home. I’m ready to do what ever is needed!
I am a 56 year young male who works hard at staying fit. My goal for the next 16 weeks is to get lean and gain muscle with hard work and coaching. I have Dans suspension program at home and also use it at my place of work the fireball. I need to get some advice on eating and workouts to get into the shape I want to be at this stage of my life. Can you help.
I am a mother of 6. I am not overweight but any stretch of the imagination, but in the next 16 weeks, I want to tone my “Mommy Belly” and lose 15 pounds.
I am trying to get my strength levels back after a nasty bout of mono last year.
Mono at 41. And trying to continue doing Crossfit. All that led to was injuries.
The area I have been struggling with most during my recuperation is nutrition for strength performance.
Current goals are: 175# squat, 205# deadlift, 125# clean and jerk.
My goal is to get down to sub 10% body fat before I start law school in the fall. I will need to lose around 20lbs of fat. I am committed to becoming the best and leanest version of myself for this next season of my life! :)
Hi guys,
I would like this coaching to help me get into my best shape ever. I don’t lose weight like most people. No matter what I do and how extreme I go. I have been working hard for 4 months and have lost 10lbs. I lose 1 or 2 lbs then I plateau for 2 weeks, then I lose a couple more. It is very frustrating. I have already spent quite a bit of money and tried many programs. Nothing seems to help.
Once I hit 45 its like a truck ran me over in addition to “the change.” I’ve been a competitive swimmer since I was 10, started lifting weights at 13 and dabbled in running (including 3 marathons). I turned 45 & I had both shoulders repaired (mainly torn rotator cuff) and then went under the knife again for the achy knees (bone on bone) as the subway stairs in New York City suddenly became a source of angst every day. My swimming also took a toll and I struggled to finish my races. While I’m not overweight, I’m 5’2″ and don’t have the luxury of height to better disperse my weight. My abs & thighs are the bain of my existence & other than losing muscle weight in my thighs while recovering from bilateral knee surgery, it (fat) is back. I know Dan can kick my butt into shape, but what & how much to eat is the what I feel is the key to my getting healthy again. My overall goal is to wake up one day & eventually every day and feel good/healthy again. Then, hopefully I can be competitive in my races again. Thank you!
Bench press 225# 10x, dead clean to press 225# 10x, squat 300# 10x, gain 5 pounds lean muscle and lose 1.5% body fat.
What an awesome opportunity to reach the finish line. In 16 weeks I would like to finally reached my goal weight of 130 with under 20% body fat. I believe this is possible with both a nutritional and exercise expert on my side.
Need to learn to take control of diet. Have problems with bingeing, and starving. Need to start something and finish it. Have been racing for years, but want to take it to the next level.
Need to learn to take control of diet. Have problems with bingeing, and starving. Need to start something and finish it. Have been racing for years, but want to take it to the next level. My goal for the next 16 weeks is to drop 3% body fat, and lose 10lbs.
My goal is to loose the jiggle in my thighs. I have succeeded in getting my weight down to where I want it, but I’d like to tighten those muscles some more. I know that I cannot force my body to drop fat where I want it, but my upper body is looking pretty good to me. Muffin top is gone so the jello thighs are about the last place I’m storing fat. 16 weeks? I’m looking at 8 weeks to get this gone!!!
I’m looking forward to actually following through and completing my goal of getting to 12% body fat, down from about 18% right now. I’m 43, and 200 lbs and while I work out regularly, it has been hard for me to stick to a set work out program as I get bored easily. I was in my best shape ever when I had a trainer, and would really benefit from having one again who would be honest with me and my progress, not to mention push me to be my best. I have recently re-opened my own business full time (instead of part time while slaving for my employer) an I’m looking to round out the health aspect of my life with a focused exercise plan. Thank you guys for the continued motivation in all of the various ways that you get the word out to us. I hope to hear from you soon.
I am a 45 yr old stay at home mom of a 3 1/2 yr old daughter. Before that I was in the automotive business as a technician working on cars for 14yrs and I was also a professional belly dancer for 15 yrs. Although I have not been as active as I used to be for the last 4 years, I have just recently attained my ACE certification for group fitness instruction and am planning to open my own studio with my dance partner very soon. I feel I need to be in tip top shape to do this and help others with their goals. I will not be returning to the automotive field because it was very physically demanding on my body although along with dancing, it kept me very fit but I am not where I used to be. My goal in the next 16 weeks is to try to regain a lot of the strength back that I had pre-baby and get rid of the last 2″ of body fat around my core. I am not so much concerned about the body weight because I know that I will be gaining my muscle back. Even with years of experience I’ve had working out in the gym (12+ yrs) I feel that winning this personal training session will give me that last bit I need to reach my goal and also enhance my motivational and adherence skills to help others.
Awesome giveaway guys. Dan I purchased your last 190+ Suspension training package and just love the challenge, and having more info to train my clients with. If I won this awesome package this is what it would be used for. I have two major goal exercise events I’m just starting to train for coming up in August and October. First off I am male, 57 years old, 5′ 8″ tall, 175# and my body fat is 13.5% My first event is a 100 mile bike ride called the Hotter’N Hell taking place on August 24th, 2013 in Wichita Fall, TX. Typically the temperture peaks at about 100-115 degrees and the course is rolling hills to major hills. My second event is a 100K trail run called the Pumpkin Holler 100 in Talequah, OK on October 20th, 2013. My goal for the bike ride is to get to 9-10% body fat, I’m interested in losing down to 167-170# in weight. In my trail race I want to drop to about 8% BF and lose weight down to under 165-167#. In both instances, I don’t want to experience bonking. I want to be able to do these events feeling strong and confident. In our Fitness business we train clients from high school to couples in their mid 70’s. Being able to show our current clients and potential clients that we really can do all these types of exercise events will also help our business. So this awesome giveaway package would really help me both personally and financially with my fitness studios. Thanks for the opportunity.
My 16 week goal is to lose 15 lbs and gain muscle for the first time in my life. Since I had my daughter 5 yrs ago I have struggle with trying to get back in great shape. Since 2011 I have been really determined to get in shape and look good, I have gotten so many dvd workouts and do all my exercising at home since I can’t really afford going to the gym. I have lost a lot of weight on my own (40 lbs) since summer 2011 and cant seem to get rid of the mommy pouch and tone my body. I stink at eating clean and this coaching opportunity sounds awesome. Also I got married a little before I got pregnant 5 yrs ago and I never even printed my wedding pics because I was so overweight at 185 lbs. This year Sept 6 we are renewing wedding vows and I most def wanna look my VERY best on that wedding dress!!!!!! That is my ultimate goal. Thanks…Betsy
My current goal is to go from 20% BF to 10% BF. If I lose weight I’m okay with that but I don’t mind maintaining the weight as long as the body fat drops.
I am a personal trainer but currently working on my master’s degree to get into the education realm so that I can teach youth of all ages how to be active and be healthy. I’m also a father of 2 and working hard to be a positive role model for them. Since starting grad school, and still working full time, my own fitness endeavors have stalled out. I’ve been maintaining but could use the great guidance to break through the current plateau and shatter my goals.
My goal id to loose 10 pounds and 3% of body fat. For strength, my goal is to be able to do a hand stand and 5 pull-ups.
My goal is to loose about 3% body fat. I’d like to learn how to adjust my diet to daily demands on my body and personal exercises. Another goal is injury prevention. The cold of the winter keeps my muscles hurting and they easily turn into so much tight pain that working out gets impossible. LOVE working out with suspension, because it allows me to gradually add more “weight”, and I’d really like to be able to do some pull ups (= strengthen my back).
My goal is to get to around 5% bodyfat and be able to do one legged (pistol squats) and hold and l-sit for 30 seconds.
My goal – simple – To stay motivated for 16 weeks!
