What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

Over the pass year I have needed a mentor to guide me in my path to success. I always believe that anything is possible so I always set high expections for myself. For over a years time I have wanted to achieve a six pack, toned arms, anand toned legs. And I would love to lose thirty pounds because I am at 160 and I need your coaching to stay motivated and achieve these goals. The reason I would like to lose thirty pounds over a sixteen week period is because I have read that losing two pounds a week is a good in order for me to keep it off in the long run. Moreover, it has just been me to try in achieve this goal through my own knowledge. And believe me I am a dedicated young woman and I will work and do my best at everything that I put my mind too. Another reason why I could gain success through this program is to the fact that I would like to become a personal trainer and coach myself to let all the people of this world know that the power of your mind when put to a challenge is all you need the number one key needed in this factor to get the weight off and be successful at it. First, I am going to open my mind to the knowledge that my coach has gained to get where he is today. And that is another one of my great characteristics I have an Open mind ready to receive information at anytime. So I just want to thank you for this program that will help me grow and prosper in my career. Thank you so much

And about a year ago I managed to bring myself from 192 to 160 and I lost thirty-two pounds on my own through the knowledge I have obtained in that year . The only thing is that I have been on this plateau ever sense even though I work out and eat right. I really believe that this is for me because I have managed to do lose the weight through my knowledge. But the key to reach my new goal is to have someone who has already achieved these goals and truly believe that Dan and Joel can Help me do just that with their expertise.

I filled out the application just in case you don’t call me but I have given up on diets, exercises and goals. I know that I need to lose at least 25 pounds but I can’t even lose 2 pounds without them coming back. Coaches are too much money but with this or a two for one offer, maybe it could work. I would love the help you are offering!

Just filled out the form there Joel. I am at 162lbs and hope to get up to 187lbs. So my aim is 25lbs in the next 16 weeks. Seeing as I was at 176lb before I did a recent fat loss program the 187 should be reasonable and maybe even more. Thanks

I have a 12 week goal – not 16-week. My only daughter is getting married on September 22, 2012. I want to lose at least 40 lbs by then. I started your Fat Loss program on June 1st and so far I’ve lost 12 lbs. It has been the most challenging process I have ever undertaken because I’m a 56 year old woman who has been overweight since my hysterectomy at age 42. Nothing has worked in the past. Surprisingly, your program has kept me losing – slowly, so far – but losing nonetheless. I was quite ill in 2011 but I am getting physically stronger and feeling better than I’ve felt for a long time thanks to your program and your tips. Thank you.

I want to build a little bit of muscle and of course lose this stubborn fat. I’m short (5ft4in) and I weigh 151 pounds. I would like to lose at least 25 pounds. I’m turning 35 next September and I have promised myself that by that time I’m going to be in the shape of my life and definately going to maintain it. I am also a mother of two wonderful boys and I want them to be proud of me and also be an example to them. This offer is a great opportunity for me to set off towards my goals (I need someones advice and guidance to get onto that path).

My 16 week goal is to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and continue my weight loss journey from that point on until I reach a size and figure I am happy with.

My 16 week goal is to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and then continue on my weight loss journey from there. Prior to my pregnancy I had a good regime going; now post-pregnancy, just trying to get back into the regime and finding the time is hard but I am committed to this. Having struggled with my weight all my life and knowing I can lose weight having losing more than 50lbs pre-pregnancy; goal is to do it again; continue and stay there, not have my weight increase ever again.

My entire life has been spent eating what I wanted, never caring or thinking about the consequences. After seeing my dad change his life because of a health scare, I realized that I am heading down the same path.
In April of this year my friends and I decided to all diet together and hold each other accountable. On that day I weighed in at my heaviest: 260 lbs. I am 5’7″. I’ve played soccer for 18 years of my life, so I “hid” the weight pretty well. I had some up’s and down’s with dieting when I first started in April. I was well aware that I wasn’t caring about portion control or a balanced diet. It was when I finally began measuring my foods and drinking enough water throughout the day that I became aware of my body.
After losing 20 lbs. I began to return to the gym. I don’t have tv so my cardio time flies by when I watch the tv at the gym- I find myself wanting to stay on the treadmill so I can finish watching!
I’m the only one out of my group who stuck with her goals. And it feels incredible. I have gone from a size 20 down to a size 16. Running is getting easier for me, my feet are no longer swollen. Even my blood pressure has gone from Hypertension Stage 1 to normal.
I am also running a 5k in November- a Zombie Run- with 2 friends who are big into running. I would love to finish the run with obstacles in under 45 minutes. In 16 weeks I would love to lose another 20 pounds and lose more of the fat around my hips, abs and arms. I don’t look at this as a diet any longer. When I go out or cook I am only interested in the healthier items on a menu. I would love to learn how to cook flavorful meals that not only taste great, but can provide a huge boost to my body.
I don’t need someone to tell me to get to the gym, or put down the cheeseburger. I need someone to tell me how to up my game so I can become the healthiest version of me.

I’ve always enjoyed going to the gym training hard with
Weights and cardio and enjoying all the results that come along
With it.
Recently, I was diagnosed with having a patent foramen ovale
Or PFO, which is a hole in my heart and I suffered
A mild stroke. This threw my life into a whirlwind.
It was a domino affect. I was in college and having the stroke
Disrupted my studies because I was diagnosed with having
Dyslexia… The stroke made it worse… Anyway…
I just want to get back and be as fit as I can be
I don’t care about a number on a scale… I care
About the way I feel and look! More importantly
I want to do this for me and only me….

I seem to be stuck at around 130 and have been trying to get back to my fit (muscle & strength) ideal of 112-115. With 2 bad knees since I was a kid, leg workouts have always done more damage to my knees and legs than good.

I haven’t lifted weights on a regular basis since college… That was a while ago, 20+ years ago. ;)

I have tried several diets and exercise programs and am very diligent in following them to the letter. However, I have found the exercises are not possible for me to do without injuring myself. The diets work, up to a point, then I stay at around 130. Drastic diets get me down to 120, but once it’s over, I creep back to 130. D’Oh! :(

I would greatly appreciate any specific help to get myself to reach my goals.

I do remember how I looked and felt when I was strong and toned. I want to be that and better, again. :)

To get my “Fit & Fab @ 50” body back!! One year on and I have gained weight, lost muscle tone and injured my shoulder. Need motivation and accountability … and someone to kick my butt….!

My goal is to drop a size or two (lose about 8lbs). I exercise a ton (even teach TRX classes) but my weight has crept steadily up. I am sure some coaching and encouragement in nutrition and more of a focused exercise plan would make the difference. It is really frustrating to think you are doing most things right and have little to show for the work.

The reason I would like to win the 2 on 1 coaching is because I think I need personal coaching to achieve my goal. I am in pretty good shape and don’t carry a lot of body fat. However, no matter how hard I try, I can’t FINISH defining my midsection and losing that last bit of fat. If I won the coaching, I am positive that you two could help me finish the goal I’ve worked so hard for my whole life.

At 56 I was just rejected for medical insurance – pre-diabetic with a 6.3% Ac1 and super high LDL (overall cholesterol was good though). So in the next 16 weeks I plan on getting the blood sugar and cholesterol under control, lose 6 inches off the waist and drop at least 25 lbs.

I would be thru the roof if I was selected for this opportunity. I have always had a passion for fitness and readiness for lifes uncertainties as well as helping others. I would definifely use this experience to better myself and help others by sharing what I have learned from your knowledge.
