What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I lost sight of myself raising 3 kids which I love. Husband sports me but is over the road a lot. I want to find me again. I weigh 212 and once was 130. Yea I know I have kits but no excuses.I want to love the person I want to be,I want to be healthy for my kids and do more things with my kits and be there for my family. I love them and I just want to do something for me. I’ve tried Al firsts Lila shakes. I walk 3 miles everyday and still can’t seem to get out of the rut. I lube to ready healthy but killing myself exercising with no results. I need the right combination. And I need help. Small goals at Time.

I just turned 51 and am not as fit as I used to be. I have suffered a few emotional tragedies & health challenges in the past 2 years and need to get back on track. I just can’t seem to do it alone. I belong to a gym, but work 10 hr rotating shifts, and just can’t seem to get there. I have just purchased a total gym and it is helping, but I would love to have some coaching. I am a grandmother of 3 and want to be a good example for my kids & grandkids & be able to be active with them. Most importantly, I want to be back in shape for me. I really need to lose 50 lbs.

My long-term goal is to become healthy and fit. I am 42, 5’ 9.75“, and 345 lb. I will put an end to carrying around the mass of an entire second person! My 16-week goal is to lose 60 lb of fat, about one-third of the amount that I need to shed. Losing fat and building muscle will be a means to an end: living the active lifestyle that I crave and miss very much. A survivor of ovarian and uterine cancer, I am determined to take my life back and live it to the fullest. Going through menopause early after a hysterectomy last year has not been easy, especially as it sometimes zaps my energy. However, I find that sticking to a healthy diet helps with symptoms, and I have not yet had to take hormone replacement. I believe that you, Joel and Dan, can help me devise the plans and give me the accountability that I need to make my good intentions become reality. I want the increased energy and confidence that come with being truly fit, and I want to inspire others.

This is an awesome forum. I like the idea of accountability. Too often I make excuses when I don’t achieve what I set out to achieve in my fitness goals. What I really want is to cut down to sub-10% body fat and be @ 75kgs body weight. I don’t need to get any bigger, I just want to be chiseled.

My goal is to loose a few pounds as I am near my ideal weight but would like to tone up again as I was when I was a gymnast and a dancer. Five years ago I had an accident – fall from a horse and had a compression fractur of L3. Since then I have lost the tone and put on a few kg. I want to get down to 73 kg and get back in shape as before.

I’m 32 years old, weigh about 77kg with a height of 1.72m. I’ve tried so many diets, some worked, but the moment I stopped with the diet,I gained all the weight again. I can’t do this on my own…I have a tight working schedule, therefor can’t spent hours in the gym. I am depressed about the way my body looks. I usually loved shopping for clothes, but these days I hate going to the shops, because everything I try on,looks awfull!!!! I desperately need to lose about 16 or 17 kg of fat for me to be happy with myself again!! I’m also bridesmaid on the 1st of December and want to look fantastic, but I need someone to help me with the correct nutrition and excercise. My 16 week goal is to lose about 16kg in 16 weeks, which is about 1kg per week. I would love it to have my own personal trainer and nutritionist to help me achieve my goal weight as soon as possible! Hope to hear from you soon. Ilse

i am a young and athletic girl who is looking forward to a career as a sports scientist. i have always been very active due to my numerous siblings and being involved in a soccer club(i adore football ). but recently sometime last year, the fat simply crept up on me and the more i tried to remove it the more i gained it. i already have steps on how to get around to it but this coaching deal seems simply too good to pass up. 4 months is a realistic time frame for me to lose it ALL since i am not really overweight(simply overfat) and even gain some muscle so it kinda all fits together for me :)…..

I am going on 51 this august and gave up basically, my life, two and a half years ago to move to remote far western new south wales in Australia, to take on the care of 6 grandchildren. After long court battles and no support from any gov agency that I was entitled to I managed to save the older three children. We are now facing doing it all over again as the mother (my daughter) is taking us back to court to try yet again to get them back. I was just getting my life in order health and fitness wise when all this came to pass. Now I struggle constantly. I have purchased your program and that of two of your ‘friends’ that you recommend. My food allergies make it difficult to plan meals and where I live reticts severely my ability to find replacements. I am pre diabetic. I have found a lovely man who supports me and loves me and my children BUT he himself is overweight and not healthy. He has suffered one heart attack 12mths before I met him and manged to lose 20kilos but I am watching him put it slowly back on. I try to lead by example but fail as this is the one area he does not seem to be able to support me on constantly bringing foods into the house that are really bad for us both. I work out of the home as well and end up so tired I never get to the exercise part. I need someone to give me that push and do it with me. I need detailed menus allowing for my ‘no no’ foods to be exempted.
Any help from you guys would be really appreciated as I don’t seem to be able to get my money’s worth from the programs ( I can’t seem to get the contact or questions answered) and I realise this is probably my lack of understanding rather than your inability to respond.
I just want my life to be better and for me to be able to keep up with the children I now am responsible for raising up.

Thankyou so much for reading this.

I would like to be able to lose fat, become more healthy and be able to control my weight. I would like to prepare so that when the time comes – I can be an active senior.

My goal is to gain muscle and tone my body. I am an active person or so I seem to think so. I chase a 2 yr old around most of the time and I am a flight attendant as well. I workout when I get a chance but I seem to be maintaining my weight and not changing my body at ALL! I need a more strict schedule and a variety of workouts that will keep me interested. Hotel fitness centers seem to all look the same … I think my body will react to a more intense level of workouts cause what I’m doing doesn’t seem to be enough!!
