What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

Hey Joel. My name is Cory, and I would love to lose about 5 pounds of fat and gain 10lbs. of muscle in 16 weeks. I am confident I can achieve this if I get my nutrition in line. Your coaching would really help me to achieve this.

As a 55yo mother of 9 children (6 adopted siblings and 1 bio still at home) I have had my ups & downs – literally. I’m currently 9 days into the xtreme fat loss 25 days and have lost over 5 lbs so far. (My 19 year old adopted son is acting as my trainer working out with me. I just did 50 girlie pushups, which I could not have done even 25 two weeks ago!) Anyway, my first goal in 16 weeks is to be healthier. I love what you say about leptin and other hormones, it all makes sense. Of course I want to lose weight and by my calculations I have about 75 lbs (no – 70 lbs now!) of extra fat that needs to be GONE – about the size of my 13 year old daughter! I appreciate what you do – helping the average person to actually be and feel healthy. Thank you!

Having just celebrated my 59th birthday, I am preparing for the greatest adventure of my life. I’ve never been disciplined in working out, but fully understand the importance of balance in all aspects. As I prepare to move across country to be with my daughter and her family, I see myself becoming the strongest and most fit Grammie I can be. I’ll be helping to care for a 3 1/2 year old that has more energy than most as well as a 6 month old baby whose mobility is just starting to come into play. I’ve spent the last few years trying to figure out who I am, what I want, and how to acquire the proper tools to make my dreams a reality. I have so much knowledge, but find the pressure of running a business and a household demanding. I have a tenacious spirit and drive and would appreciate the ability to be on the outside what I’ve become on the inside. The economy has affected us all in a personal way. A gift from the Universe would be the support and help of qualified individuals to help on this last leg of the transformation! Let me be your project of success!!!!

Hi,
I’ve been trying to lose 10 pounds for the past 4 months. I’ve charted my food (stayed within 1300-1500 calories), tacked my steps (6000-12000 per day), added exercises, eaten healthier foods–but I’m still within 2 pounds of where I started. It’s so frustrating. I read your emails and try to follow what you say as well. But distill no luck. If I can just lose those 10 pounds…

I am almost 58 and 80 lbs overweight. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid, muscle pain and joint pain — I need help

My goal is to look damn good in a two piece again. A persistent layer of belly fat is an ongoing issue and source of frustration. I’ve been doing great at working out regularly but need to reduce calorie intake to really see some results. Working out just makes me so hangry!

I started with Kyle Leons program last fall and have reduced my weight about 25 lbs; I am 59 yr old male 6 ft 1″ tall and down to 180 lbs and body fat in low teens; would like to reduce body fat some more to single digit from low teens; seem to have hit plateau. Can you help?

my goal is to loose my belly fat. i am 75 kg now. i wanna go atleast 82kg in next week without adding fat on my belly and reducing belly fat at same time

My priority for the 16 week goal is to work on my abs in order to achieve overall toning, lose weight and get a flat belly. This will give me the confidence not to hide my belly behind baggy clothes. After giving birth my weight was maintained at 7 and a half stone over 30 years, not any more. Although, I’ve struggled for years at the gym my weight has not dropped below 9 and three quarter stone. I am 68 years old and just below 5 feet in height. My target weight would be to lose at least a stone. Diet wise, I am a semi vegetarian and do not eat pork meat or much non veg food. I would like to find a diet that would help my needs. I look forward to hearing from you. Please do not publish my comments or my email id.

In the 16 weeks I am going to do:
One 5 week round of the Extreme Fat Loss diet starting Wednesday.
Fat Loss of 25 Pound.

6 Weeks of Cheat Your Way Thin.
Fat Loss of 20 Pounds while doing
6 Weeks of the High Frequency Solution Muscle Gain of 10 pounds

3 weeks of Extreme again loosing another 15 pounds.

If I calculate it correctly a 240 Pound man with at body fat percentage of 30% would have 72 pounds of body fat. I want to get to 12% body fat, for a 56 year old I think that is good.

The Coaching would be a great way to keep me on track and help me refine my goals.

I am 47 yrs old, 5’8″ & 175lbs, I run 3 times per week and work out twice a week. I can’t seem to lose the belly fat. My goal is to lose 10 lbs of fat and add muscle. My waist is 34″, I’m wondering if I can get down to 32″ afterward.

Hey Joel,
I’m 60 years old, on blood pressure medication,
and borderline diabetic. My ultimate goal is to
reduce my body fat to under 20%. I’m at 32%
now. I know if I can reduce my fat I know the
weight will come off. I weigh 180lbs and I’m 5’10”.
I try to weight train but have possible arthritis in
my right shoulder so doing even a push against
the couch while on my knees is a struggle. Is
there still help for me. My 7 year old grand-daughter
has started swim lessons and has told me she
can’t wait to be able to swim in the big pool with
me. I need to get into shape so I can be able to
accomplish that task. I hope you can help me
reach that goal.
Thanks,
Ray

I am just sick and tired of being overweight all my life. I have finally decided that i want to get in best shape of my life. I have no specific goals (eg loose pounds or loose bodyfat) I just want to get back to feeling normal like rest of my friends and family.

My goal is to lose 100 lbs & go from 243 lbs to 143 or so. My main goal is to wear a size 10 & look good in my clothes & feel good mentally about myself. I am dieting & drinking water & exercising. It is so hard & occasionally I get a sweet tooth or a carb attack. I must make severe changes for many reasons.

I’m 162lbs at 5’5″ and I want to get down to 145lbs as my comfort weight. I compete brazilian jiu jitsu and have been constantly fighting weight issues since I started four years ago. I will reach my goal as I have come down from 208lbs and have competed at 149lbs before and plan on next month. Your help would be appreciated.

First, 16 weeks with you guys would be a GIFT. I’m totally coachable and a willing student. I’m not an old dog who can’t be taught new tricks. I would accept the 16 week gift to bring the best out of myself…in order…to bring the best of out others. I want to help people live to their PEAK. Most barely get started.

That’s not who I want to be. That’s not what I want for others. I want to help as many as I can…from my heart. Expecting nothing in return. I am blessed to see others blessed. The best way I can be a blessing to others is to offer the very best of me.

Will you guys help me?? BEST!!

~Kevin

This time I’m gonna do it, I’ve been fighting for 5 months to lose weight, now I’ll lose this weight, my 16 week goal is to lose 30Kgs. I know it’s mission imposible but I’ll try pretty hard.

I am 21 170 pounds at 5′ 11”. In 16 weeks I would like to gain 2-5 pounds of lean muscle and reduce my fat percentage down to single digits, preferably 8% body fat. As well through the 16 weeks replace one piece of food that I eat that is not good for my health every one to two weeks to transition into eating healthy instead of rushing into it
