What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

My 16 week goal – starting July 2 – will be to lose 25 lbs. and to get rid of my belly fat so that I look good without a shirt. Because of this weight loss, I will most likely be able to get off of a high blood pressure med and a cholesterol med as well.I am 62 years old and want to be as healthy as possible.

In 16 weeks I will be competing in my 3rd Tough Mudder Tri-State run which is a 13 mile course with approximately 30 obstacles. In the past 2 I have been unable to complete some of the wall climbs and money bars over the water. I need to increase my strength to finish the whole course. My fat loss goals are to add 5 pounds of lean muscle and get my body fat into single digits.

My goal is to finally lose the 40 pounds I gained because I quit smoking. It has been weighing me down now for five (5) years and I keep trying to lose it but it has cost a lot of money to date. I had lung cancer so I quit smoking. I had an operation to remove part of my left lung; then chemotherapy for 4 months. During this time I was out of work and watched “The Food Channel” for most of the time. I ate and had no motivation; was depressed and just got bigger. I never had a weight problem in my life. This has been so troubling for me and I really need to get this weight off. HELP.

I think I am in a good shape but i would love to add some kilos of pure muscle! I am genetically between mesomorphic and ectomorphic bodies and I still cannot manage this duality! A little help would be great!

Dear Joel,

I went from 40 and super fit to 50, fat and slow. Play multiple C&W recordings here. I got a grip. I managed to lose and keep off 16 pounds over a year but have been stuck for 3 months. I really want to lose another 16 pounds and gain some muscle tone (3-4 pounds) over the next six months for my marriage. I have a very slight frame so these are huge changes for me. I have been fast walking 30 minutes morning and night and mostly stopped eating biscuits, crackers and processed snacks. I live in China and my good available/affordable food options are local vegetables, fruit and farmed protein. There are “tons” of (literally) expats just like me who need your help and don’t qualify to join the local “Fat Boot Camp”. Look forward to chatting with you.

Ready to charge!
Ray

Hi Joel (and Dan)! Thank you for this opportunity.

Age: 41
Height: 4’11”
Weight: 162 lbs

I’ve lost 15 lbs in the last 6 weeks following some of your tips. It’s a good start but still a long way to go. I have 4 kids and have yet to shed the pregnancy weight I gained for each one. I’d also like to set a good example for my family and give myself every chance to be here for many, many more years. :)

My goal: lose 40lbs of fat, gain some muscle, feel healthy — be fit and feisty! hehe

Oh! ……. and HAVE A FLAT TUMMY again! :D

Thanks for all you do, Renee

P.S. Sorry if double post…my browser crashed. :/

My goal is to lose the extra weight i gained after I had my son. I am in the Air Force and am trying my best to get back into shape. I was 150 before I had him and went up to 212. Currently I am at 160, but for some reason cannot lose my stomach. I have tried pills, I have changed my diet and I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I do an hour long workout – with a mixture of things I do- and still I cannot lose the baby gut!! I could use any help I can get.

My goal is to get rid of some more of the weight and get more fit at the same time. I’ve already lost 100 pounds, I’m trying to keep it going. I’ve been on a plateau for about 8 months, and been trying almost everything to get it going again.

Hi Joel!
I am going to be 46 and have almost given up any hope of getting leaner. I have exercised considerably over the past three years but did not knock off a single pound. The scales would show four pounds off today and tomorrow they’d be back. My physio said it could be ‘hormones’ and age-related stuff. There was no other reason for such fluctuation. I have been nearly 170 pounds and stuck:( I wish to lose 25 pounds and get more muscle. It doesn’t help that I have arthritis and my knee hurts often. And a busy work schedule too! Would love to know that it is possible to in shape.

I would like to add about 10lbs of lean muscle without the bulking fat. I’ve mastered my body type on losing weight and getting shredded, but putting on muscle while staying lean has been the challenging part. I’m 5’10lbs, 160lbs, 35yrs old, about 10% bodyfat, visible 6-pack.

I am 30 years old. I’ve lost almost 40lbs in the last two years while building muscle & battling a stupid heart condition that sends it running off 250 bpm at times. That’s tuff! It’s been hard but I only have 15lbs to go to meet my goal. I enjoy the newsletter & articles & I love free stuff. Don’t give it to me! Please don’t pick some gym ray like me. Pick ➡Jo Ann Sims!⬅ Or someone who really need the help. If u see this Jo Ann don’t give up! It’s hard but u can do it! Thanks Joel for what u do. Your Awesome Bro! God bless u all.

I have never been good at setting my goals. Any goal I ever set seems to be destined for failure the moment I put pen to paper or finger to keypad. Anyway I’d like to just drop 20lbs of fat over the next 16 weeks.
Age 47
Height 5’9
Weight ? BTW 240-250lbs

When I was in the united states marine corps I slipped to discs in my back, pinched a nerve and blew out my knee due to an improvised explosive devise attack on my wolf pack. They told me id never be able to run another mile again…. I’m running three… My goal is to get to a point where my injuries no longer determine my workouts and capabilities, I want to be able to run 10 miles again and feel great… I know my goals are not one of appearance like most on here but my goals are very near and dear to my heart and I WILL shatter them

I’ve been exercising daily for over 6 months but am just not losing my belly fat. I’d like to lose the inches, not necessarily the pounds.

My goal is to lose an additional 25 pounds which looks like a six pack abs, waist, 14″ biceps, and 23″ thighs.
Additionally, my goal is to grow my telemedicine business from a website to 100,000 members that utilize our telemedicine services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We have over 1000 doctors contracted and qualified throughout the USA.

My goal for the next 16 weeks is to gain my fitness level back. I am a ballet instructor and the mommy of two amazing boys and have gained almost 40 pounds due to lack of exercise and poor nutrition. I’m so mad at myself for letting my health slip like this. It was really easy to loose track of all my motivation because I was no longer dancing. I would like to loose at least 40 pounds and tone up. I would like to increase my flexibility to the next level. I am in serious need of motivation and help and love that I’ve found this website. Good luck everyone with your goals!!

my 16 week goal is to lose 3-5 lbs a week AND firm up so I don’t have saggy skin from losing weight!

I’ve got myself from 182 lbs, and who knows how much body fat to 163 and about 15%. My 16 week goal is to drop 2-3% more on the body fat and put back on 7 lbs. of pure muscle. Think you can do that for me, Joel? I’d love to see it!
