Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

i turn 40 in september and my kids are having a beach party to celebrate my big bash. am not far off my goal(that is to be super lean by sept 3) and i know with the 16 week of intense coaching and good nutrition, i know i will get the body that i have dying for a very long time. help me melt the belly fat that is keeping me from wearing a bikini:)

Hi, My overall goal is to be feel amazing, walk confident and get rid of these aches and pains…. oh and get rid of the tire tube around my middle.
I was on my may to my goals and about a year ago my husband had a life-threatening problem ( insert starting eating and going out for a beer (or 10) here). Then he got laid-off 7 weeks later.. (increase bad activity)… Things settle down, get into a groove in the right direction, then ni October he get pneumonia so bad that they have ‘never seen anyone walk out of the hospital’.. BUT he did…all that matters…. recovery time getting head back on straight..ok New Year, New path.. wham I get laid-off from a place I have worked 20 years.. (insert super-charged bad habits/health here). BUT silver linings still abound…. Glad I am gone from my old job to a new amazing one, hubby started his own business back up again and its great.. family’s great… But I am still stuck in my (now more party it up) habits….
I could not be more disappointed in myself….. I can manage and plan the heck out of anything except me.
So today I pledge that I will do the exercises I have planned and bust them out hard – make better eating choices and stop the stupid drinking like I’m in college. I have a pair of 8 jeans screaming from my drawer just dying to be worn.. I’m planning on them being too BIG !!

I am GOING to build more muscle. Whether I win this or not, I am determined to get into great shape! Right now I get up at 3am just to get my cardio in and I lift 3X’s/week with 1 day of boxing. It would be awesome to have help with my coaching because I know I do too much cardio but for some reason can’t break out of it. I eat really clean, but I’m afraid to eat a lot because I don’t think I’m doing enough for the weight to come on as muscle.
Its been really tough to get to where I want to be, but I wont give up. Everyone tells me I can’t have the body I want because it is not normal or healthy to do the things I do (like getting up so early) but I know I need to do what I have to. It would be fantastic to get some help to break me out of my minds road blocks, but if not, I’m still not gonna give up.

My goal is to lose 40 pounds in 16 weeks (60 all together), lose fat and get toned muscles and back into good shape. Once upon a time, I was in killer shape (6 months in the LAPD academy will do that to a body). I stayed that way for a lot of years, then we moved and I got a job where I sat for 12 hours a night, making me too tired to do anything. Now, I’ve purposely taken a job that requires me to be on my feet and walk all day. I’m averaging over 30 miles a week, but need help making time to work on the rest of me.
This is an awesome forum. I like the idea of accountability. Too often I make excuses when I don’t achieve what I set out to achieve in my fitness goals. What I really want is to cut down to sub-10% body fat and be @ 75kgs body weight. I don’t need to get any bigger, I just want to be chiseled..
My 16 week goal is to loose 20lbs.Over the years I have gained some weight that I just can’t loose.I need someone to push start into a fitness program that I can use for the rest of my life.I tried p-90x and I hurt myself and you know how we are we just don’t like pain.My biggest problem area is my mid area.I enjoy good food but it just seem to not want to go away from that area.I have also got older 48years old.I try and stay active but it does not seem to work.My upper body is in good shape it just my mid area.I am tried of trying all these diets that never seem to work.The last one was the try the food lover diet which didn’t work I think I gained more because I was eating 6 times a day.I don’t drink alcohol or smoke so why do I have this big beer belly?Just need a push start! so can you help!
My goal is to lose 32 pounds in 16 weeks (2 pounds a week… Modest :) while building a strong core to hyper tune my weight loss for the next 16 weeks.
My goal is to lose 41 more pounds, losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time. My 50th birthday is 8/29 and I was hoping I would be in shape by then, but it has been slow moving for me! I have struggled with my weight for many years and tried many different ways of eating and exercising. I become disheartened when I see no results or slow results. I have lost 15 lbs since 3/1. I would love to be able to run in a 5 k. And I want to be able to ‘catch’ my grandsons when we are playing tag. I would love to have a personal trainer! ZThank you for considering me!
Realistically I would like to lose 20 lbs. and firm up my muscles. I have always been slim and fit, but can not afford to go to a gym, however I do walk 2 -4 miles a day. I am 54 years old and realize that my body is no longer in as good a shape as 10 years ago and that it will take hard work to achieve my goal.

I want to lose fat & compete again
Break through the continuous plateau I’ve found myself on with some real nutritional knowledge tailored to MY body. I want the best body I can get while maintaining my weight (+/- 5 lbs). I’ve been putting the work in, but my eating I know is all wrong. Straight up.
I used to bodybuild, then had my kids and fitness just fell by the wayside. I want desperately to get back into working out and get back to feeling strong and good about myself again.
I want to get back into the shape I was before breast cancer, 3 years ago. I used to run regularaly and was 40 pounds lighter. After 5 months of treatment, including surgery and Chemotherapy, I lost all desire to eat healthy and exercise. I am still on meds that make it hard to loose weight and be/stay motiviated. Also having had cancer once, being overweight puts me at a higher risk for reoccurence. I can’t afford $2,000 for a personal trainer and I want to feel good physically again and to be an example to my 13 year old daughter (who is overweight also). I am 48 years old and am too young to feel as “old” as I do. Thank you for your consideration.
It is my goal to lose at least 40 pounds. Lose fat strenghten and gain muscles as well as get a real understanding of the process in order to continue losing and become a healther individual after the coaches are gone. Really need good coaches; books are fine for some but one on one is the best teacher for me.

I lost 25 lbs with medication and the belly fat diet. Now I feel stuck and overwhelmed…I am desperate to lose 50 more. I can do it. 16 weeks….I can make a goal of 40 more …the first 25 were easy. I am ready for the next phase. I gave up soda, most carbs… And almost all sugar. So let’s GO!!!

I am going to burn off 65 lbs and get in shape to compete in the Fit and Fabulous Mom contest being held in October here in Boca Raton Florida. Right after I win the contest, :), I will go for my final fitting for my costumes for my bellydance routines that I will be doing at my daughter’s wedding reception. It’s one of my wedding gifts to her.
My other wedding gift to her, TO BE MYSELF AGAIN; happy, healthy, fit, fabulous and hot!!

Last time she saw me I was unhappy, overweight, and still putting my pieces back together from losing 3 family members (2 of them from AIDS – mom and stepdad) and recovering from a failed and abusive relationship. My wake up calls were when I asked my girls what they wanted for Christmas and their response was for me to be happy!! WOW that one was a kick in the pants and totally unexpected and I thought I had everyone fooled.
The other one was when I get a call from my daughter’s high school (my 17 yr old) that she had kicked some guy because he saw a photo of me on her notebook and said I was fat. My response to her school, “hey she was just practicing her kickboxing”. Seriously though she is not the type to fight so that really lit a fire under my rear and woke me up!!!
I have burned off 60 lbs already. I need the last 65 lbs. With the 2 of you helping me, there is no way I can lose. I know the task of taking on someone with so much fat to lose is a bit daunting but I can promise you I will be giving you 200% and I will be your greatest success story!
I am a 33 yr old single father of a 2 year old that’s finding it tough to stay motivated on my own while trying to get back into shape. After a physical in January revealed that I had high cholesterol, high bad cholesterol, and high blood pressure, I did my best to get myself back in to shape by eating better and working out more. Having a family history of diabetes and the realization that I was living unhealthy for myself and my son, I stepped it up and I was able to drop from 225 down to 185 and from 20.5% body fat to 16% body fat. Since then I have become a bit apathetic and stopped going at it as hard and have not gained back 10 lbs and 2% body fat.
I know myself and know with the proper guidance and toos I can achieve great results, so my goal is very specific. My goal would be to get below 10% body fat while maintaing a body weight above 180 lbs. I want to see my abs for the first time since high school
In 16 weeks I want to drop my bodyfat from 12% to 8%. I want to lose the extra flab around my lower back and core. On top of that I want tone up my chest and back, and increase the size of my medial and posterior deltoids so I can have a better v shape. To achieve a better v shape would mean so much to me. I would be able to go throughout my day having the satisfaction that I have achieved that form. My emotional state would also benefit as well as my mental state. I will be able to focus more on my tasks at hand in the present without having the lack of goal completion luring in the back of my head. Ultimately it would really help me live in the present and enjoy the moment to moment situations that can occur in my life such as going to the beach and playing paddleball, beach volleyball, or ultiamte frisbee. I cant wait to feel more vibrant and vigorous like I used to 2 years ago.
I’ve been weight training regularly for the last year and a half now and I’ve seen amazing results. I started at 185 and 16.4 percent body fat and since then I’ve dropped to 165 and 11% body fat. My goal is to drop 4% more body fat. Doing this will give me the body I need to get a serious look at WWE which has been my dream job.
My goal is to lose 12 lbs and get my body fat % to 18% with ripped arms and back. Why you ask? Because it just so happens in 16 weeks it is my wedding and I am wearing a strapless dress and going to St. Lucia for my honeymoon! I have already lost 34 lbs and this last stretch I know is going to take tenacity and fire. I am scared I won’t have the ability to go the final distance on my own ( thus far I’ve had no gym or trainer or crazy diet) and this could be precisely what gives me the accountability I need to reach my goals before my wedding! – oh and I’m sure my fiancé wouldnt mind remembering his bride being smoking hot either :) thanks for your consideration gentlemen!
My goal is to be stronger and add some size. (15 lbs lean muscle to be exact). I need to lose 7% BF which will take me to 8% BF overall. I’m am gonna try a new workout and give it full attention. My other goal is to achieve two belts in wing chun Kung fu as well. See you all in 16 weeks. Best of luck.
