Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

I am a 48 year old single father who has raised 4 kids on my own since 2001. Three of them are still in house with a grandbaby as well. A few years back I went through two back surgeries and the “blossomed” to 218 lbs standing 5′ 10″. A year ago Janueary I got on a health kick that has lasted – running, lifting weights, and bike riding and recently adding kayaking to my list. I habe managed to get down to 185-188 lbs, but still retain that UGLY belly fat that I cannot seem to get rid of. My 16 week goal is to trim down some inches on my waist, possibly losing 10 – 15 more lbs in the process, and become physically fit enough to start training to run a marathon 1 month after I turn 50 next year. I just ran the gladiator rock n run and it showed me how out of shape I am. I also just found out I have gallstones. So my 16 week goal is to lose body fat and gain muscle and learn a healthy lifestyle of eating to prevent further problems. I’m too young for this!!! And I’m signing up for another mud run in October, so I want to do way better!!
My 16 week goal is for my daughter. She went away to College on her own and left here at 130-140 pounds and came back last year at 221. She is only 4’11” (24 yrs.) tall and was born with only one kidney. The doctor has told her if she didn’t lose the weight that he would have to put her on dialysis. I have worked with her on what foods to eat and to stay away for now. She also keeps a daily journal of the foods she eats. But it is hard to get her motivated. She has lost some weight but still has a ways to go. Even though I need to lose about 5 pounds my more concern is for her. I do not want her to end up like her grandfather on her dad’s side who has alot of health issues because of his weight. That’s why I’m asking you to help me help her. Thank you.
Im a 18 year old thats really into healthy eating and exercise, so I thought that gaining some more knowledge in something I may want to pursue as a career would benefit me in very good way. I don’t really have a goal in terms of losing weight, because presently I want to gan muscle mass (though I’m considered already really fit). However these programs seem very beneficial and I’d like to see what Joel Marion has come up with this time. But! if this is strictly a win lose situation where only one person can win this – I’d rather let someone take the prize.
I would love to win this prize. I have had a lot of arthritic problems and also about 20 lbs to loose. With help and guidance I know I can do it.
I’m running tough mudder in 4 months, so by then, I would like to be in shape enough to pull myself through that 12 mile obstacle course. Total weight loss should be about 10 pounds, with stronger leg and arm muscles.

My 16 week goal is to lose 15 pounds of fat while gaining about 5 pounds of lean beautiful, sexy muscle. I want to be that “hot mom” again and fit in my favorite jeans again! Right now, I cry every time I put on any jeans. I’m in a size 8 and they are tight. Everything I do fails, so I’m clearly doing wrong things. I lost my BF last year and my job. My BF will never be replaced and I’m looking for a new full-time job. I’m working out and eating right but I’m not seeing results so I’m doing one or both wrong somehow. I need to know how to do this correctly. I’m very unhappy and I’m completely disgusted with myself. I want to be happy again. Please, help me with this to help myself become happy again. I am a 50 year old tax professional and homeschooling my 9 year old son. My goal is to lose 25 pounds in the next 16 weeks. I currently live with cronic muscle ache as a result being hit by a van last year. I believe with the right training and excercise the pain will be significantly diminished. I can’t seem to find the help I need locally.
I want to lose 50 lbs in 16 weeks. I’m 29 years old and weigh 295 lbs. When I was in the best shape of my life I weighed 240 (sad right). I’d like to eventually become a solid 210-220.

12% bodyfat, 190 lbs…
Within the nest 16 weeks, I want to lose about 5-10 pounds of fat. I also want to gain muscle, and I think I need to do that to lose these last pounds. I am so passionate about nutrition and working out, and I eat well and have worked out consistently for years. I just can’t seem to get these last pounds off no matter what I do! I would love to have some coaching to figure out exactly what it is. I am determined and will work hard at it. This would be an amazing opportunity!

I have a 3 year old daughter and I want to be able to keep up with her. Right now i’m 5’8″ 185 and some of that is fat. I recently went to a place with her and it worn me out within the first 30 minutes. I want to be able to last for a few hours at least. What I mainly want is to force myself to eat better and get a much flatter stomach. I also want to build a faster metabolism. I am an athlete but I am ashamed of the way my body looks and I want to be able to go to a waterpark without a shirt and feel good about it.

I need to lose 40 pounds just to get to the max weight for my height, so ideally, I would want to lose 50 pounds. God, what a tremendous difference tha would make. I don’t want to lose the weight only to put it back on. I want to change my eating and exercise habits forever, and every time I have tried, I have failed. Joel, I bought your Xtreme Fat Loss plan, but I couldn’t stick to it because of the fast day after the cheat day. I drank and drank the amino acid (bcaa I think?) drink, but I kept cracking – and it was always at night when I knew my metabolism was slowest. I didn’t have the energy to work out on the fast day or the shake day. I need someone to guide me every step of the way, someone I can look to for guidance. With your diet plan, I did lose 10 pounds, but as I mentioned, I want and need to lose a ton more. It’s discouraging when I look in the mirror or see a picture of myself. I don’t have kids yet, but I don’t want them to see pictures of me later on and say, wow, mom was a cow. Please, I need your help.
Hi, I would really love to get a one on one session with an expert and waistloss coach. Had a baby 8 months ago, hubby stationed overseas and have a special needs toddler…I get so overwhelmed and food is the first thing I run to and has become a best friend, I get counselling for everythingelse going on but would like to complete the overhaul by losing about 5% body fat and gaining some muscle. I have yoyoed a lot in the past and just want to stay committed to eating the right way.
I have quite a bit of fat covering what I am sure are great abs:). I hate referring to my stomach as the jiggly, but that is what I do. No matter what I do, it seems to be the only part of my body I cannot get under control. Even when I lose weight my stomach goes down a bit but the jiggly won’t go away.
I would like to lose about 15lbs more and build some muscle. I’d like to see my abs and obliques pop out a bit. I’d like some definition in my arms and legs (not much). I’d like to strenghten my pectoral muscles (I have big breasts and in my family they tend to drop).
I am only 25yrs old; I would like to feel that way for once.
