Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

At 52 (& female) & struggling with weightloss, a conservative weightloss goal for me would be 20 lbs in 16 weeks….that would bring me half way to where I need to be :). I’m not sure what that would equate to in terms of body fat percentage, but it’s still a lot healthier than where I am currently at. I am soon to be 64 years old and want to compete in my first time ever physique fitness contest. Just a month ago I was invited to step on stage for the Empire States Natural Contest and while I was flattered to be asked, I’m not ready. In 2010 I made it my goal to see my abs for the first time in my life and another contest is coming up by the same organization in September. I reached my goal of seeing my abs by my 62 birthday 2010, now I’m ready to make another goal of building some muscle to make my body even better. Erasing the years of bad diet and lack of physical activity has been an awesome experience for me. Coach me guys and help me get to my new goal!
My 16-week goal is for my mother. She is 65, has arthritis, high blood, and high cholesterol and her doctors want her to lose 20 lbs minimum. They have been telling her this for over 2 years now. I feel like her doctors have been too vague and have offered little advice to help her lose the weight. She needs to learn how to eat right and exercise consistently. I live 6 hours away from my mother, and I try to give nutrition and fitness advice over the phone. However, I am far from certified. No matter how much I talk to her, it feels like she is having trouble getting motivated. I wish I could be with her every day to help. I fear if she doesn’t lose the weight this year, her health could get worse. No child wants to see a parent unhealthy, and it pains me that I can’t do anything more to help her. I feel your coaching would be the gold standard and put her on the path of a healthy lifestyle. In turn, you will also put three generations on the path to a healthier lifestyle because she prepares most of the meals in the house. Your help would be immeasurable.
When my mother was dying from complications of diabetes, I promised her that I wouldn’t make her mistake. I wouldn’t get fat. Unfortunately I did not keep that promise and am today quite overweight. The best way to prevent this disease which runs in my family, is to lose the excess weight that I’m carrying around. That’s why I’m asking you to help me to protect my health and honor my final promise to my mother.

At the start of this year, I decided to start lifting weights. things were going well, but I realized that the best way to maximize my results was through a good diet. However, things kind of took a look for the worst, as I developed an eating disorder. As a result, my family had to send me to the doctors to I could get evaluated so that I would not put any further harm to myself. However,that incident is in the past, and I would like to try again with a full training and nutrition plan – and this time get it right!
So with your help, I hope to be the strongest version of myself – in both body and mind.

My goal is to drop 30 pounds, decrease my body fat level, and completely refine my nutritional and eating habits – all while exercising.
In the next 16 week, my goal is to be ready for my first half marathon in the end of August. But most the most important ay 42, to be in best shape ever(and lose at least 10 pounds).
At the moment im at least 30 lbs to heavy. Ive been training and being considerate of my my diet since October of last year. I train with decent size kettlebells and free weights 3 times a week and love to row as well. The muscle and strength thing i can do, its been amazing, but the fat is not moving! Ive been following an intermittent fasting protocol for the past 3 weeks and haven’t seen much change as yet, but i find it an easier way to accomplish the calorie restriction. As a woman with children, ive been heavy before, and after the first 2 i got into the best condition of my life. This 3rd time not so much. Why? I wasnt even really training much then, and now i’m grinding it out with minimal results. I was able to drop over 30 lbs in 16 weeks, since last October ive dropped maybe 15-20. What gives!!!!!

I am a 52 year old mother of two college students. Being concerned with my weight and apperance has always been a priority. Some friends say I have an obsession. As far as diet goes – I’ve always been very strict on whatever I was focusing on at that particular time. The Adkins diet was very successful but a very unrealistic way to live your life. I think it actually set me back after I plateaued. Anything grown in the grown should be good for you – right. I understand what you need to eat and NOT eat to keep the weight off. My workouts are 6 days a week. I’m a graduate of P90X – 2 times, P90X 2 , and Insanity. All programs worked but I still can’t get rid of the stubborn love handles. My goal is to get rid of the love handles which I feel has to do with my age and being a woman. I am by no means extremely overweight…Just would like to loose 10 pounds of saddle bags.
My goal is to lose 50 lbs in the 16 weeks and i believe i can do it with you guys help. It is my desire to have a healthy body and better lifestyle. Since the past 2 years, I have been gaining weight like no one’s business. Before that, I lost weight naturally, which i felt was awesome. However, things went from the best to the worse. I ended up gaining much more weight than I’d lost! I was speechless. Up til now, because of shortness of time and further work pressure and stress, I continued to gain weight, and have been feeling more and more depressed. I’ve tried many ways to lose weight but did not manage to maintain it. I’ve tried to look up on the internet for various solutions but all didn’t help much. In the end, i found this and has been reading every email sent. I sincerely hope to shed off the pounds as soon as possible and gain back the confidence in myself :D
I’ve been active duty Navy for the past 13 years and have always been extremely active. However, I have never gotten lower than 19% body fat (I’m a girl) and have always wanted to try. I am so driven to get to this goal, but I feel that when you get down to a somewhat low point – it’s all timing and science in order to get lower. I’d really love professional guidance and I always give 110% in everything I do. I just need the right tools! :) Thank you!
My goal is to lose 25 lbs in 16 weeks and drop body fat significantly. I am going to be in a tough mudder and I would love to place high enough to compete in the worlds toughest mudder. I have always struggled with losing weight and I think if I was able to do this my knees and back would feel significantly better and I’d be able to push myself to the next level training wise.
My 16 week goal is to simply shed fat. There is a history of heart disease on my Mother’s side. Almost all my uncle’s had early heart attacks and died under the age of 60. So by shedding fat I hope to reduce some health risks and stabilize my blood pressure without medication. Seeing some abs would be a nice bonus!! I was just under 10% body fat, but June of 2011 I slipped a disc (L4-L5) tire flipping (bad form). During recovery my nutrition and fitness went down hill, and I lost all the results I busted my arse for. I now have sciatica, so I am very careful with lifting. I am not looking to lose a specific amount of weight, because as the fat goes I am hoping to gain back some of the muscle mass I lost over the year.

My goal for the next 16 weeks is to stick to the Extreme Fat lose diet and exercise plan, lose the 30 pounds I in need to lose, and make healthy eating and exercise a life style. I have gone to extreme measures to lose weight before – lap band surgery – lost 75 pounds and have gained back 25 pounds. I do not want to take diabetes meds again. I could use some help with accountability and encouragement.
My 16 week goal is to loose body fat and gain muscle. Statistically I’m in good shape, although, I’m no where near where I want to be. I’m currently 5’10 140lbs. I like my weight, but I do not like my body. I would like to get my six pack back and add 1″ to my glutes in order to achieve 38 28 38, with very low body fat. I know I need to focus on diet, which is where I need help. I would like this achieved within the next 3 months, and I know it’s doable! I love your blog and emails. :) thank you!
