What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

In the 16 weeks I am going to do:
One 5 week round of the Extreme Fat Loss diet starting Wednesday.
Fat Loss of 25 Pound.

6 Weeks of Cheat Your Way Thin.
Fat Loss of 20 Pounds while doing
6 Weeks of the High Frequency Solution Muscle Gain of 10 pounds

3 weeks of Extreme again loosing another 15 pounds.

If I calculate it correctly a 240 Pound man with at body fat percentage of 30% would have 72 pounds of body fat. I want to get to 12% body fat, for a 56 year old I think that is good.

Yes Joel, quality is the right word. I understand when you speak about quality, all because I used to be a body builder back in the 1980’s and I had quality muscle on my six foot frame. I like to make quality gains, but due to circumstances with the economy of the country and lack of work, I was discouraged from training as I used to and that has caused me to gain an additional fifty pounds that I need to get rid of and would like to replace with “quality muscle”. I would like to begin a 16 week program, in which I can train 6 times per week and make that change just as I did back in the 1980’s when I competed here in Miami Florida’s at the (Mr. Gold Coast 1983). I thank you for the opportunity to express my health goals and the need to get back in top shape as I’ve have desired for a very long time.
Sincerely,
Jesus

Alright, In the next 16 weeks. I recently retired from a 25 year career in law enforcement so I’ll have some time. Goal is weight loss without muscle loss. So going to lose 15 pounds in 16 weeks. A reasonable and achievable goal. I’ll use a combination of kettlebell extreme and some of Mr. Clarence Bass’ diet ideas. I’ve read some of his work and find it reasonable and doable. I’ll let you know how it goes as I go along.

Josh,
I haven’t really had a problem adding muscle to my frame, but I have to say shredding the pounds has been tricky at times. So, over the next 16 weeks I am going to drop 3 – 4 % body fat while maintaining constant muscle gains. Thanks for all the tips!!!

In 16 weeks I will have lost that last annoying layer of belly fat and will have those 6 holy packs. I will have watched every morsel of grain going into my system. I will have been the 1st one in the gym every morning.

In the next 16 weeks my goal is to tighten up more, tone up more, build up more, and weigh 120 pounds. Thanks to your XFL program 4 months ago I weighed 150 and now my weight is 128. I have 8 more pounds to go. Thank you for all of the awesome information that you share with all of us.

I have been working really hard on eating right and have lost 70 lb, all this with minimal exercise. In the next 16 weeks I want to lose my last 10 lbs and start a regular exercise routine to tone up my muscles.

I am 54 and stand 5’5″. Awhile back I went from 237 to 163 but I let it all slip away. Now I am sitting at 203, my ultimate goal is at least be at 135 so I would like to go back to doing what I was doing, using all the extra helpful information I get from your post and be well on my way back to my original plan.

Joel,

Thanks man! Gotta give a big shout out to you, Roman, Craig and the crew you surround yourselves with. Have been using a few of the programs and love my results thus far. Hmmm… 16 weeks…4 months. I plan to lose about 10 lbs. and get stronger in upper body while not gaining a lot of muscle weight. I’m using my body for rock climbing and at 6’4″ I’m big for that anyway. The big one is to increase my recruitment, core strength and my stamina at the same time.

At 65, with some chronic injuries I craft a workout program which is low impacts and has a lot of stretching in it. small weights, inversion situps, pushups and resistance bands. For aerobics I am hiking about 1200 ft to 9000 ft. ….3 times a week with a 25lb pack. Watching my diet as well

I will lose 24 lbs in the next 16 weeks and maintain my BMI at 22

My goal is to lose 13kg in 16 weeks, starting right now!!!
I just had a back operation and can not really exercise, but will do it with walking etc.

Well I think I have tried everything, but needed a good reason for the effort. I now have a very important reason to lose. I have a beautiful young stallion in training to ride and I need to be more fit and less fat to ride this handsome horse. I hope to lose 30-40 pounds in 16 weeks. 30 pounds will make it much easier to ride him, 40 would get me back to my best weight for my size I’ve ever been. I tend towards a muscular build but need to get rid of all the extra fat I gained from getting married and helping raise my husband’s kids, which was very stressful, being thought of as the ” evil stepmother”.

In the next 16 weeks I want to fix my broken metabolism, lose the love handles hanging over my jeans, and have a round sculpted firm butt and rock hard abs. I currently have a body fat % of 25% and my goal is 15%. I want to lose 7 pounds of pure body fat. My wedding is in November and want to look my best for the most important day of my life!

I want to cut down my fats and improve my nutrition and diet with proper excercise, so that come September I will have a good looking body with few packs on it :-)

A goal for the next 16 weeks? I would like to lose 10kilograms – not sure what that is in pounds :P I have been stuck around 80kgs now for 3 months and I can’t seem to move it. Your help would get me to where I want to be and help me to acheive my goals :)

Hi Joel, my 16 week goal is to lose 44pounds.
I want to finally be proud of my figure & be able to feel as
confident as my friends do when they go out. I feel
as if through my 30 years do far I’ve been able to accomplish all
my goals, education, employment etc but I have yet to be able
to accomplish my weight and overcome this obstacle.
