What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I am a 55 year old retired granny. I am 5’2″ and weigh 105 lbs. My chest-waist-hip measurements are 38-27-34. My goal is to get to 38-25-34. I want to see my obliques again.

My goal is to lose 60 pounds of fat and gain some lean muscle. I would also like to maintain some health eating habits so I would not be in this position again.

I am weighing in at 210 lbs. right now but I will drop down to 205 lbs but will drop 4% body fat in that time. I will also pack on a lot of extra muscle while getting rid of that extra fat I have been carrying. I will finally reach that goal I have longed for for so long but too lazy to actually go and get it.

Joe,

I want to put your cheat yourself thin program into practice. I want to tone up and lose 10 pounds.

During the following sixteen weeks I will drop my bodyfat from 19% to 12% without losing strength or muscle size and while staying as close to my current bodyweight as possible. I have already lost 17.5 pounds of fat in the last 15 weeks and am now weighing 86kg (190lbs).

My goal has been partially met, being on your program for 4 weeks, I have lost about 5 pounds. I will put on muscle and tone my body in the next few weeks and will lose the belly. I will be healthy and able to run a half marathon next year.

I’ve gone swimming 3 times a week ever since I was 8, but started to get out of the routine some years ago. I did karate for 2 years which helped, and went to the gym in some periods, but largely, my level of activity went down. Now I’m swimming again, this time daily (1 km) and am starting to get in shape again. I’ve lost 8 pounds but am now at a standstill (the fat loss is offset by the muscle gain). I really feel in the mood for quickly losing 30 pounds, and this is my goal for the next 16 weeks, – then I’ll keep a lifestyle that allows me to carry on with that weight and body fitness forever.

Sure, according to my current diet/weightloss/transformation goals I am losing about 1.75 to 3 lbs a week, I am much stronger and my energy level is MUCH better. I am still having some problems with my balance after working really hard for a number of hours, but it is better. My job is physically demanding.

So, 16 weeks from now I will be on the maintenance part of my new lifestyle/eating plan and I will weigh 112 lbs. I will be strong enough to do actual push-ups. I will have incredible energy and will be training for the long distance running I used to do.

In 16 weeks I will be 40lbs lighter. I will be back to working out regularily, strong and fit. I will be enjoying my choice of healthy lifestyle, with loads of energy for my new business and my children.

My goal within the 16 weeks is to lose 10 pounds and to consistently work at building muscle.

I need to get this weight under control so I will be able to spend mor eyears with my grandchildren.

I am 50 years old 5’3″ and currently weigh 131 pounds. I would like to lose 10 pounds and tone up. I especially would like to work on my midsection and upper back.

I’m a 31 yr old female weighing 130lbs at 5’7 with a 29.6% body fat. My 16 week goal is to lose 12lbs of fat and reduce my overall body fat percentage by 10%.

I would like to reduce my weight by 20 pounds. At the same time I would like to build and tone some muscle and still have my body weight at the new -20 level. I have retired so I expect at my age the muscle gain to take more time, or be slower, than 30+ years ago :-)

My goal is to lose a minimum of 16 pound in the next 16 weeks. I would like to say 30 pounds but I want to make sure I can accomplish the goal. I am finding that I am losing more inches with Cheat Your Way Thin than pounds although I’m pretty happy with the 13.6 I’ve lost so far in seven weeks. Most came off in the first month and now the pounds are moving more slowly but the inches are melting away even though I am not working out like I should. I have already started this week to step that back up. I would really like to get to a 35 inch abdominal size at the most-lower would be better! Thank you, Joel!! Your diet plan is great!

i am 18 years old 5’4 and weight 140 pounds, i am 11% body fat and want to reduce that to 6% and also want to gain 10 pounds of muscle during the 16 weeks

I don’t want to lose weight. I want to lose fat. I want to burn off my big ol belly man boobs thighs and arms. I’m plenty strong and have lots of muscle, but I just have more fat.

My goal would be to gain more lean muscle and burn more fat. I don’t care about lbs. as much as I used to. I just want to look and feel good. I’m hoping it’ll help keep the lupus at bay.

My goal is to just not gain! Yes, I have a LOT to lose, but lately all I seem to do is gain! I’m 52 and in the start stage of menopause. Joel, I’m sorry, but you can not relate to it. Everything in life seem to work against you at this stage of life. I walk every morning with my husband (the only exercise he’ll do, so I do it for him and for me). Thanks for all your info.

I am built thick and dense. I have a lot of muscle but my abs is covered with fat. I would like to lose 30 lbs. I really would like to lose the belly fat. The next 16 weeks i would like to lose at least half the fat around the mid-section. I’ve been working out (mostly bodyweight excercises) . My diet is concentrated mostly on protein with very occasional indulges on carbs -pasta and bread.

My goal is to loose 10 pounds in the next 16 weeks. And also gain muscle and get tone, my arms and shoulders and loose belly fat that is the firs place a gain body fat. I workout 6 days a week and my diet is fairly good, no soda, no sugar, no white bread and pastas. Healthy..
It worried me that 3 months ago I started a new workout before that i was 126 after that I’m 129 and I did not loose any inches at all so now I have to work even harder to get what I want…
HELP any suggestion is welcome..
Thanks

My big goal is easy! A 6 pack! I’ve been working since Jan on this and have lost 25lbs of fat thus far. I am currently at 188lbs and believe I need to lose another 8lbs of fat to reach my goal.

To try and be accountable to myself, I started my own blog (my name is linked to it) so I’m writing what is working for me and what is not working for me. Everything seems to be working well so far!
