What Are YOUR Goals?

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

I have just turned 18, I’m 6′ and weigh about 68 kgs. In the next 16 weeks I want get my body fat % down to around 8% and gain about 5 kgs of lean muscle.

Joel, 1st I must say thanks again for your X-Treme Fat Loss program which a year ago I started & lost 70+ pounds. I’m now fine tuning my diet to come to a soft landing about my waistline. During that loss I noticed a drop of 10 persent bodyfat. During the next 16 weeks I’m going to continue with my current diet & workout program & I WILL walk (lengthy) at least 2 times per week. I’ll watch as bodyfat melts & goal of getting into some 36″ jeans. BTW, 56 years old/young.

Goal: Ab strength. For some reason I can not even do a full sit up. That’s with doing both Pilates and Aerial work!
And it would be great to have those abs start showing!
And education: not just the diet stuff, how those abs and muscles work!

Joel, I would like to lose 25-30 lbs of tummy fat and build body
muscles to strenghthen my physique. I am 70 years old and
have a lot of body pains. Have had a hip replacement, a lower
back operation, a neck operation as well as other operations.

My goals are to lose 7lbs or more of fat and build sexy lean muscle. I want to get out of the diet mentality and just learn to eat healthy and not stress about eating a piece of candy every now and then.

My husband and I are running our second half and full marathons for this running season…we’re looking to lose 10-20 lbs to achieve optimal racing performance…also, decrease the likelihood of injury, increase speed, increase lean muscle mass all while not looking unhealthy! I won’t have the full 16 weeks to reach my goal so if all goes well we’ll reach our goals much sooner!!

I will lose 20 pounds by Monday, October 8th, 2012 by eating half of every meal and saving the other half for later, stop eating before I’m full, cooking at home, snacking on fruit, eating fruit when I’m bored, eating nuts when I’m in the car, drinking water before I eat, riding my bike and going to the gym every other day early in the morning

By the end of the 16th week, I’m gonna be 10lbs lighter and my body fat % on the single digit of 8. Gaining muscle is a must, so I’m going to put on 5-8lbs of muscle by the deadline. My pants that, here in Brazil, are now 42, it’s going to drop to 40. And I want my abs visible, so everyone can see how hard I trained and how focused on my goals I was. Cheers.

Not sure about losing much more weight..maybe 10 – 15 lbs…but burn belly fat burn…HHHEEEEELLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!

I have gone from 230 to 165. In 16 weeks, I will drop at least another 4 inches from my belly and drop below 20% body fat. I need to continue building up muscles and my balance.
