What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

I would like to lose 20 lbs I need to get in shape, and get my body back the way it is suppose to look. I am starting to have health problems, such as pre-daibetes, high blood pressure, joint problem, etc… By posting this goal, on-line as well as on my refrigerator, I WILL be able to reach this goal.

I am going to weigh 198lbs by 16 Weeks from now. I need to trim off the fat acting as an anchor weight on me. That equates to about 8 lbs a month. Its about time I did it.

I need to gain some more muscle. I’m a female 5’5″ at 106 lbs. I just started boxing and although I am deceptively strong, I would love to get my muscles back and have a body like Amanda Latona’s. Since I was in the hospital for celiac complications, I lost my abs and a lot of my muscle tone. Since then, I have gained a lot of muscle back, but still need to get a little more back. Thanks for listening!!!!!

I weigh 175 lbs and in 16 weeks time I intend to be at least 20 lbs lighter and build up my stamina by as much as I can. I want to be more athletic than I am at the moment.

I played football and lacrosse in college and always weighed in at about 195. I went to Navy boot camp and dropped my weight into the 170s. I was super lean. Fast-forward 30 years, and I’m now up to 250. Too much weight to carry. I added some muscle, but I’m not kidding myself, it’s mostly fat. I’d like to get as close to my lean body mass as possible. If I could get under 10% body fat, I’d be ecstatic. So I’m shooting for that ultimately. However, that’s probably not a realistic 16-week goal. For my 16-week goal, I’d like to drop a minimum of 20 pounds – perhaps even as much as 30. So that’s my goal: drop 20-30 pounds of body weight in 16 weeks and maintain my current muscle mass.

I want to lose 30 lbs, mostly fat while creating muscle tone. My body and hormone levels have dramatically shifted in the last 1 1/2 years and I can not stand the way I look or the way my clothes feel when I wear them, not to mention it is putting a damper on my sex-life with my hubby as I do not feel sexy regardless of what he says…sigh…. Gonna try to get my butt into gear and lose this fat!

I’m on an alkaline diet and I’ve lost 8kgs, I still need to loose 6kgs more. I’ve not been sticking to the exercise routine though because of a back ache. I’m soon joining a yoga class, hopefully my back ache will subside & allow me to get back to my exercise schedule religiously…. In 16 weeks I will have sorted my back pain & lost the 6 kgs!! Wish me luck :-)

My main goal: To FEEL & LOOK GREAT!
Current Weight: 255lbs
Height: 5’7″
*Goal weight in 16 weeks: 190
*Fitness goal: To be able to do mad pushups…I can’t even do 3 complete ones, upper body is just too weak for my heavy body. lol
*Nutrition Goal: To eat healthy & good energy foods without struggle! I want to crave it and not dread the food that I HAVE to eat. I want to know it right off the back what each food item contains and how good it is for me.
*Fashion Goal: Wear a bikini and feel good in it. Or even just wearing anything and feeling confident that it looks good because my body looks good.
*Health Goal: To run faster and further without breathing problems; Have the strength and energy to do things for my family and others.
*Self-Esteem Goal: To feel and look sexier in bed!!!! ;D

Story Time:
Im on the yo-yo dieting bandwagon and I tell you, its not fun. The last weightloss program I was in (which ended mid-April 2012) let me lose 29lbs. When it ended, I had signed up for Mike Geary & Joel Marion’s subscriptions for my yahoomail. Its the total opposite of what I’ve been doing. I was on the daily slow-cardio, singling out different parts of my body to work on, and just doing everything Mike and Joel were tellin me not to do. I ate only greens (which I have grown to crave all the time), barely any meat (tsk tsk tsk), and I would do only cardio for 30 minutes on the tread. After reading many of your subscriptions in May, I managed to implement them in my workouts. And man did I start sweatin more than I ever did. I would never lift weights, but in May, I did the opposite. I wouldn’t sprint on the treadmill in fear of breaking the machine, but in May, I was doing high intensity intervals with sprinting. I had noticed the change in my metabolism in a matter of days. I felt like my body was burnin up food fast, and I had great energy throughout the day no matter how exhausted I was the night before after my workouts.
I noticed the changes and then Graduation week in my community began after Memorial Day. No bueno! I got busy and started eating like a crazy lady with no exercising. Started getting lazy and quickly, I went back to over indulging and lounging around. ugh! I didn’t even get a copy of your XFLD and many other goodies you’ve sold, though I made that mental note to do that, it was never done.
Today, I decided that the laziness has got to stop. My trouble area is of course, (THE GUT! How about we cut the “trouble” and make it “target”. lol.) I have calves of a rugby player, more muscle than jiggles, but they’re too big for a woman, so I’d like to tone those down just a bit. I want all these extra jiggles under my arms (typical woman fantasy), on my thighs, and butt, to be firm.
Joel, 16 weeks sounds great, and you couldn’t have asked me on a better day, because just this past weekend I was preparing myself mentally for today to start again on my workouts and making better food choices.
Look forward to the continuing motivational articles from you!

Thanks!

I’ve been pretty active through the years and never really laid off from working out. But I think that by working out and eating smarter, I can set and achieve a goal of losing about 20 pounds in 16 weeks.

In the next 16 wks I will drop under 10% bf. In that process I will loose 10-15lbs without loosing muscle mass or strength. I plan to follow the fastest fat loss week as a jump start then resume my Lift Hard Play Hard routine.

After recovering from cancer and treatments last year, this year, I am recreating a body that is vibrantly healthy, beautiful, fit, lean, strong, flexible, pain-free and has an abundance of energy. I’m going to look in the mirror and see beautiful, curvy but smooth lines: lean, muscular, and gorgeous. All flab and cellulite will be gone. I’m going to be able to do whatever I want to with my body – go for a run, a hike, dance, bike ride, do yoga…anything! And my body will feel great while I’m doing it and after too!

I want to lose 40 pounds in the next four months (current height 5’8″ and current weight 280 pounds). I also want to be able to jog a 5k without any walking breaks. I’ve already lost 40 pounds this year and my blood pressure has gone from very high to slightly elevated and in 16 weeks I would like for it to be normal or extremely close to normal. And of course I would like to drop several dress sizes and be more confident.

I’m aiming to increase muscle without changing weight – that is, swap some fat for muscle. Felling pretty good, easily lost 8 kilos under 24/7 Fat Loss with Joel and Craig (65 to 57 kilos). Now it’s all about getting the “perfect body shape”. Thighs and butt still a bit bulky, but getting close!

I want to really kill the mini tire i’ve accumulated that everyone tells me is “middle-age hormone imbalance” issues. LOL I am beginning a vitamin regimen along with either walking or biking 3 x per wk. I am eating healthier, and trying to cut out that terrible carbonated beverage craving. . . smile.

in 16 weeks i want to loose around 5 kg and get my body fat % even lower (im around 16% right now), well the loosing of kg/pounds isnt the most important thing since the scale isnt the best way to folow your success, but i want the % to go down and get these lines out haha. Im thinking 12-13%
