What Are YOUR Goals?

Posted by Joel Marion

At random, Dan and I are going to GIVE AWAY 16-weeks of personal TWO-on-1 coaching to someone who leaves a comment below on this blog post.  All you need to do is read below and reply with your 16-week goal to be eligible.

This is WAY over $2000 value and you’re going to get your own personal nutrition coach AND your own trainer and life coach…100% FREE if you win.

Read below and respond in the comment section.

Just this morning me and my good friend Josh were discussing the different types of nutrition strategies we’ve been using along with our current goals, which got me a bit curious about what it is that YOU’RE currently doing.

Are you looking to gain muscle, lose fat, both?

What are your specific goals for the next 16 weeks? How many pounds do you want to lose (or gain) in that time?

I like 16-week goals because it’s the perfect time frame to really make DRASTIC changes to your body and the way you look—aim high, and let me know your 16 week goal in the comments section below.

Then, print off this post (along with your response), and I want you to use it as a source of accountability. Here at Body Transformation Insider, we’re not just about setting goals, we’re ALL about achieving them.  Or as my buddy Dan Long says, “We don’t hit goals, we SHATTER goals!”

Many of you are going to achieve some awesome things in the next 16 weeks—start today by posting your goal below.

(and if you can’t even *post* your goal, you might as well forget about achieving it…now is the time to step up and make it happen—together, as a community)

Talk to you in the comments section!

Joel

P.S. Get your 16-week goal in writing! Believe me, responding below is going to be HUGE for your accountability (and ultimately, your success).

My 16 week goal is to lose 20 additional pounds and seek out why I have a six pack stomach but yet still see a small area of cellulite in the middle. In addition to changing the shape of my legs. It has been my problem area all my life. My friends say I am crazy and too picky but I started the Cheat your way thin journey with the full intention of working my way into the best shape of my life and that is what I intend to do.

I am 5 “9 and started out at 240 lbs I am now down to 220 and can tell a BIG difference in my body I have been following and good healthy diet and running on the treadmill for 1.5 miles each night and working with the weights on the begining body building routine. My arms, shoulders and chest are bigger and my gut is going down. I would like to lose about 20 more lbs of fat or maybe 30. I don’t want to do shows but I do want ppl to notice a big difference in me. It feels great wearing clothes that used to be tight on me so tight that I was ashamed to wear them!!!!!!! Thanks for all the help and for the future help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to lose 10 more pounds and TONE my weight loss flabby skin! I am 44 and achieving the tone that I want is so much harder than it used to be. I was always active and toned until I hit 40….eek! I gained 30 pounds in 3 years and I have lost 20 of it….but I am fighting the flab! Help! Also the belly fat is awful. Even though I am at 128 I look 4 months pregnant and I am not! Ha! What can women do in their mid 40’s to lose the belly fat? It has never been like this before….why does this happen and what is the BEST way to reduce it. I am a mother of 3 and very busy. Walking/Running just doesn’t cut it for me anymore in the way of how I would like to look. Health wise which is the most important is great….but I worry about the amount of belly fat because for women I have heard it is hard on your heart to have the extra visceral fat in that area! Any suggestions! I am so eager to do something about it. I love to work out so some exercise suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Joel!

At 43 years old, I am 5’6″ and weigh 145. I am pretty muscular but could stand to lose about 10 lbs. My goal for the next 16 weeks is to eat clean and ramp up my cardio and weight program.

Good luck to everyone!

I’m 67 and have a hard time loosing belly fat, and gaining muscle for that matter. However, over the past 8 weeks I’ve lost about 7 pounds and pretty much maintained lean mass. So maybe I’m on the right track. My current goal is to lose another 10 pounds by September. I’m currently 210 pounds at 5′ 11.5” (having shrunk about an inch) and about 24% BF.

I want to lose 40 pounds of fat and increase my lean muscle mass, and get my body fat under ten percent

Hmmm, my goal is to somehow lose 4lbs of, not too thick fat. I cannot understand how it is there. According to my BMI, I should be 4 lbs lighter but I am active, control what I eat and it won’t go. I do high intensity stuff, mountaineering, scrambling, running etc but that weight will not shift.
I recognise some changes in my physique in that I am getting more muscular but cannot understand why this layer of fat will not budge.
I will be arranging some four-day hikes to shift it; Dales Way, Hadrian’s Wall etc.
Cheers all
TelB

Joel, I just competed in my first bodybuilding contest at the age of 55. I dropped 20lbs in 3 months to 175lbs, and had 6% bodyfat. I just purchased your Cheat your way thin nutrition program and went straight to the maintenance part, since my weight was already at a low. My 16 week goal is to put 15lbs back on as muscle and to keep my bodyfat % at 9-10%. I am 6′ tall and feel better around 190lbs. Thanks for any suggestions that you might have.

I’m 5’10 and currently added 13 kg over 4 months. I want to add mass until i reach around 85 kg before i start the ‘cutting phase’. I added fat in my belly during my bulking up phase and i want to reduce the fat amount.

My goal is to get rid of 10% body fat and gain as much muscle as I possibly can. At 56 I know that now is the time in my life when I either do it or watch my health go steadily down the tubes. Thank you so very, very much for your great information and motivation…YOU ROCK!!!

I am 170cm tall, weigh 73kg, my aim is to lose 3kg of fat, put on muscle, and get into the habit of eating healthily.

I have already lost 19lbs so my goal at the end of 16 weeks is 35-40 more lbs and to gain muscle. I don’t know what my body fat percentage is, but I am a 5’10 female, so I think a good percentage for me would be to get to 15% body fat. I don’t want to look like a tall, skinny, sickly woman, but I would like to look athletic but not manly at all.

Well Im 36 years old (soon to be 37) and just decided it was time to get back into shape. I have recently completed a muscle building program put up by Arnel Ricafranca and am currently doing his Tyler Durden program. I will follow that with another of his muscle building programs and cut after that.

Im 5’8 and my goal is to stay in the 180-190 lb range and be at 10-12 % bodyfat. I lost about lbs of fat on the muscle builder but my weight stayed right at 180 so I think we got a good thing going here. Joel Im gonna be trying your cheat to be lean plan at some point. When I get a little closer to the right amount of muscle mass to stay at my goal weight when I cut.

So right now I have 9 weeks to go on my cutting program and then another 20 weeks of bulking followed by another 12-16 weeks of cutting.

At 41 yrs old, I am 5’6 at 198 lbs. While I do exercise, I’m still soft in areas. I am projecting to lose 20 lbs of fat and gain more lean muscle. I will be eating healthier and increase better quality training sessions. I’ve come a long way from 270 lbs so I know I can accomplish this goal! Thanks for the Motivation! :-)
