HI HI,
First off let me ask you a question, How much does a Polar Bear weigh???? Give up? I don’t know either, but enough to break the ice :) Now that we have been introduced I am currently in the process of getting my Masters in Nutrition and I am extremely passionate about working out and living a healthy lifestyle. I am continuously doing research on the science of how the body and food interact because it fascinates me. I am always reading up on the new best thing that is out there because they always say knowledge is power and I want to know it all!!! I enjoy experimenting with different diets and ways to work out because it is the only way to truly know your own body and what works best for you. People come to me everyday for advise on nutrition and I just love it and could speak about it for days on end. I just eat it up and it never seems to get old to me!!! I would love to experiment with your new way of living a healthy lifestyle and also to spread the word on a system that WORKS and gets RESULTS for EVERYONE!!!! Thanks for your time in advance for reading my comment and Happy Thanksgiving.
Best, Aubreigh

I think I could benefit from the program to burn that last fat I cannot getrid of. I am hoping to read about your system both with healthy and not healty food.
Also if your program works I will enjoy the food more than i do now and wont feel bad about eating pizza and icecreams.

Joel, as a higher-education student, my coursework is none stop filled with sleepless nights, stressful days, and even more demoralizing coursework day in day out. As I’m piled with work and out of shape, I find it really hard to cook myself a proper meal with all the bodies essential nutritional needs contained in it and find myself enjoying going home as I know I will be fed well. However, when i do find the time to cook myself the food is “healthy” but also un-rewarding, and find myself going back to cupboards to steal anything I can to satisfy urges. Therefore, I believe your diet will suite me well as good tasting good is always a good pick-me-up and with your program I believe it could make my life A LOT easier. Regards, Gazz.

Last fall in preparation for my daughter’s June wedding, I committed to a rigorous boot camp regime held by a personal trainer and nutritionist. In addition to the group sessions 3 times a week I was also taking aerobic class and yoga classes at my gym. What happened? NOTHING! I tracked what I ate. At first I was told I wasn’t eating enough and when I bumped up my calorie intake, I gained weight. Told it was too many carbs, reduced those, NOTHING. Then I was told I wasn’t drinking enough water, increased that, NOTHING. Finally tried adding more protein but still ended up after nine months of working out and watching my food intake at basically the same weight. I have listened to all your sessions and I know my metabolism is messed up and I really hope your program will do the trick. As an active almost 57 year old who likes to dress well and live life to the fullest, the extra 15 pounds I have picked up over the last few years make me feel frumpy and not able to wear the more form fitting clothes I love. I have abandoned all the so called “bad” foods but still don’t see any results despite a consistent workout schedule. I am just maintaining my weight and feel as though I barely eat, let alone any of the fun stuff like bread, pasta and dessert. Hoping CYWT is my dream solution!

Joel –

There are three reasons I should get a free copy of your CWYT program:

1. I’d really love to stick it to my nosy, preachy, self-righteous in-laws who talk a big game about losing weight and healthy eating but have nothing except pudge to show for it. It would be pretty sweet to eat some of the same junk food they do yet look the opposite of how they look.

2. My husband is a good man who loves me unconditionally. He deserves to get his attractive wife back.

3. If I get good results with this thing, I’ll be your evangelist. I’ll tell anyone who asks me how I lost weight and got fit about you, your program, and your website.

Thanks for your consideration.

Honestly, I don’t know if this is the perfect plan for me but I have tried everything else with little to no success. I am almost 50 and need to lose about 10 pounds. Because of that, I find that I allow myself cheats on a daily basis rationalizing it that it won’t hurt, I’ll exercise more tomorrow (which I never do), just playing mind games all day long. I don’t weigh very much but I have 10 pounds of fat that have got to go. The only thing in the past that has helped me drop pounds was basically starving myself and I know that is not healthy nor the answer. Anyway, I am very fit, am studying for my group instructor certification but would love love love to get rid of the jiggles before I start teaching bootcamp classes. Thanks!

I know that I could benefit from this program. With high cholestrol it would rgeatly benefit me in losing weight and maintaining the correct level for better health and fitness. You are a great inspiration in all that you do and also in helping others to join in and do the same things.
Best regards,
Brenda

hello, I’m Colombian, I’m 42, I am a vegetarian, I like sports and am currently practicing the turbulent training Craig Ballantyne, working as a chemical engineer, but I very much want to change my eating habits, because I always overdo the carbs.
I need a serious program and the foundation as those offering and I will be lucky to be involved in this opportunity.
thanks

Hi Joel! I am so thankful for your research and dedication to help millions of people change their lives. It’s truly amazing how being healthy affects every aspect of you life; mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am a 32 year old woman and I have fought my weight my entire life. I have tried several diets and fitness programs. I was recently diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which means my body is overproducing several hormones, resulting in insulin resistance. It’s not diabetes, but keeps you from processing glucose correctly and makes you gain and retain weight, which does lead to type II diabetes. I’ve tried Metformin therapy but it makes me very ill. I’ve met with a dietitian and have lost 30 pounds by trying to eat a low glycemic index diet. I’ve been plateaued for about 8 months. I have still been following my strict diet and fitness but can’t seem to lose anymore. I really want to be able to get pregnant in the next few years, but might not be able to if I don’t lose about 30 more pounds. If I do get pregnant, I’ll be at high risk for gestational diabetes. The science behind your program is revolutionary. I would LOVE to try it and would be willing to track my progress for your publication. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a problem for thousands of women and there’s not been any real treatment for it. This could be a major breakthrough.

Hi Joel,

I am fortunate to be healthy because I have been intentionally poisoning myself for about 25 years. My poisons of choice were cigarettes, alcohol, processed and fast food. Add to that, zero exercise and that was my way of life until a few weeks ago.

My name is Christine; I am 41 years old, 5’, 6” and weigh about 150 lbs. In effort to slim down I joined a local gym. I found working out to be difficult, especially right after a couple of cigarettes. So I decided to quit smoking!

I didn’t want to gain weight from quitting smoking so I drastically changed my eating habits. I am following Isabel De Los Rios’s – Diet Solution Program and implementing Rob Poulos’s – Fatburner Furnace techniques at the gym.

It’s been 3 weeks and I feel great! My husband and co-workers frequently comment on my improved appearance. There has been some fat loss but they notice a new brightness and glow in my appearance and attitude. My husband is so inspired that he just decided to quit smoking and join me at the gym!

Although I feel great, I must admit I miss certain foods such as pasta and bread. I desperately need to take my program to the next level! I want to cheat my way thin!

Your program is the perfect reward for my recent decision to appreciate and respect my body and life; while inspiring others to do the same.

Joel, I am not a Body for Life Grand champion but I did make a lot of changes for the better by following the Body for Life program. I started the program November 2008 and as of this day have lost a total of 100 lbs. I still have 40 more pounds to go to reach my goal. What has sparked my interest in your program is the ease of loosing weight without the hard work cardio and weights. I have several family members that are unable to work out due to physical limitations, so I figured if I could loose weight by doing your program I could show them they still have options open to them other than trying to starve themselves or just simply giving up.

Hi Joel,

I started out on my own at 13 years old, I have overcome a lot of things in my life first because as a child I had no control, second because I guess I learned when no one else was abusing me that I could do a pretty good job on my own.

Through lots of ongoing counselling and then lots of mistakes I let go of abusive relationships, became healthier emotionally and began educating myself so I could become independant financially. I have battled and overcome drug and alcohol addictions.

My career is in couselling and supporting youth and their families and I love giving back as others gave to me and helped me become the person I am now free from my past (mostly!)

I feel like I have healed emotionally, spiritually but now want to put my focus on something just for me- to become as fit and fabulous as I can with 40 approaching in a few weeks!
I am a very strong and committed woman and I would not waste this opportunity!
Thanks, Kelly

First I’d like to say that I’ve really enjoyed reading all of your updates and finding out about your program. I think it is fantastic that you are taking the time to do all of this for people. I am a 32 year old stay at home Mom of two boys under 2 who has an amazingly supportive husband, however I am lost when it comes to getting healthy. Sine getting married in 2005, my husband and I have lived in 3 different provinces as we were transfered where his work was, we have had 2 beautiful baby boys and have gained 175 pounds between the two of us, so it’s been a busy 4 years. I currently weigh 249 pounds and I fear that if I do not find the answers that will work for me, I will not become healthier for my family and be around to see my grandkids…that scares me. I have found you completely motivating so far and will commit to whatever it takes so I ask that you please give me the chance to find out what the next step is. Thank you for listening.

Hi Joel, I am a 50 year old lady and mother of 3. I have stayed fit throughout my life and worked hard to stay in shape. this past year I feel like my weight has blossomed out of control. I have gone through menopause and gained over 10 pounds. Nothing I do helps. I watch what I eat and work out 6-7 days a week and I feel totally frustrated. I need to find out how to eat so that I can be healthy and stop this out of control feeling. While 10-15 pounds may not seem like much, I feel like this is where it starts. I have seen so many friends just grow into these huge weight gains and I don’t want to go there. I think there are a lot of people like me who don’t have a lot to lose, but work really hard for zero results. I h ope you can help me – Thanks – Heather

Hey Joel! My name is colleen, and I have loved reading your posts. I have struggled with my weight my entire life; I was the FAT KID growing up, and as a teen, I resolved to NEVER be in that position again. Unfortunately, I pursued the road of eating disordered behavior to lose weight and keep it off. It wasn’t until my early 30’s that I started to learn that food wasn’t my enemy and I needed to eat in order to have the kind of body I always wanted. I have maintained a healthy weight now for a year, which I am extremely grateful for, but I count every single calorie and mac gram to ensure i stay in a healthy weight range. Based upon the information in your posts, it seems as if following your program would provide much needed flexibility in my food program, and would help to keep food in its proper place. The idea of eating my favorite foods which I have not touched in a year and still be able to maintain my weight is like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow! I would be eternally grateful if I were chose to receive your material free of charge! thank you for listening! Warm regards and Happy Thanksgiving! Colleen :-)

Hi Joel,

Your Cheat Your Way Thin-Holiday edition would help me get through the holidays by helping me lose weight or to not gain any weight – guilt free. I’m assuming that I get a real full cheat day so I can plan to indulge at any seasonal gatherings that are likely to occur. I’m currently fighting a plateau (about a month and a half long) and would ultimately like to remove 45-50 pounds more.
Thanks
-Ann

Hey whats up?
I’ve like the information you have been sending me. I think it’s really cool how you have found a way to manipulate leptin, as long as you can maintain carbs. I am a university student and cannot eat as healthy as i’d like, but using your cheat system, I could eat pizza all the time and use my meal plan to lose weight. That would be amazing. Anyway I’m trying to keep this under 250 words. So thanks for the offer.

Hey Joel,
I just turned 18 and ever since I was 9 I have been overweight. Even though back then it was mostly baby fat my mother made me workout, yet nothing ever happened. I soon discovered that I have exercise-induced asthma, and I need inserts in my shoes or my legs will slowly break while I exercise. It feels like my body is ganging up on me, making it extra difficult for me to loose weight. Even when I push through and workout 6 days a week, I only loose a little, and then its like I’m working out for nothing. My body seems to be working against me, but your program is supposed to make my body and me work together. I try to eat healthy foods and stay away from “bad” foods like junk food. It is so frustrating seeing my friends eat more than me, and worse foods, not workout, and still be way thinner than I am. Most people are asking for your help so they can get back to the good old days when they were thin, I’m asking for your help so that I can finally get to that place for once in my life and feel confident and less self-conscious. Thank you for all of the information you have given me so far, I really appreciate it and I would love to try the whole system.

I live in the UK. I’m 5′ 8″ and about 145lbs – I would like to lose about 25lbs. I’ve dieted for more years than I can remember mostly calorie or points counting. I was 55 years old last Sunday and I have found, over the last 10 years or so that it has just been IMPOSSIBLE to lose weight – if I do lose a couple of lbs it just re-appears arbitrarily with no logical explanation – IT IS SO DISHEARTENING! I have just joined a gym and intend to start weight training – I had been running regularly but the amount of running I was doing in order to keep my weight stable (not even lose any!) was more than my poor old joints could cope with so I’d end up injured. Also, if I do lose weight, it’s where there is muscle (e.g. thighs) and not where there is fat (e.g. abdomen). I have an under-active thyroid and worry that I am condemned to low metabolism for the rest of my life. I do take medication but I have been told that the synthetic Thyroxine doesn’t stimulate your metabolism like the natural stuff?
However, the good news – after reading all your articles, I went out with my son on my birthday and had a HUGE pizza (I thought I’d gone to heaven!!!!) since then, I’ve been following week 1of your priming phase AND I’VE LOST 6LBS!!! Heaven twice in one week!!! Thankyou, thankyou, thank you…….

Hi Joel!
The updates you have provided have been great! I have spent years trying to learn as much as I can about nutrition and exercise. I have implemented several changes in my life and I even lasted 3 months on the ‘flat belly’ diet with some success, but as soon as I stopped following the precise laid out info such as specific recipes, calorie counts, restrictions, etc (which is hard to do for a life time), I gained back the 10 lbs I had worked so hard to lose. I was disappointed, but I decided I would keep on keepin’ on. For the last three months, I have been exercising and trying to put all that I have learned into action with little success (I’d lose 5-10 lbs and put it back on). Like you, I have done research into what I need to do to lose weight and tone my body so that I can be my best. I’ve found it hard to integrate all the information and it seems like your program does just that (what a relief!) Today I finished my second and final internship to become an occupational therapist! I am starting a new chapter in my life and believe that as a professional who is trying to help others, I have to help myself first. In addition to being done with school (finally!), my boyfriend proposed to me in September, so I want to start out our life together on a healthy note!

Hi Joel,

Plain and simply I NEED the Cheat your Way Thin program TO GET OUT OF THE DIETING SPIRAL that me and my belly fat have been suffering from for years. My life has consisted of one diet after another, but always the cravings and extreme hunger pangs kick in. My determination has even got me down to goal on several occasions, only to find myself and my blubbery belly returning to their former glory and some… and within a lot less time than my original dieting journey took!

I now have a dangerously high waist measurement which needs to be reduced if I’m to live long enough to see my three kids (9,9 and 6) make their mark in life. I love life. I love food and I love my kids, Cheat your Way Thin would enable me to continue to enjoy all three!

I have the DETERMINATION, Cheat your Way Thin has the TECHNOLOGY, so please allow your LOVELY LEPTIN LOGIC to help me to finally GET TO GOAL AND STAY THERE!

Cheers my lovely,

Penx

Hi Joel. I’ve got both CTL and CYWT – so I’m all set and doing fine. Good progress underway. I just have a question:

In CTL you suggest now working out on your Cheat Day – saying that everything should be as normal and stress-free as possible , but in CYWT I don’t believe you mention that point.

Also, I remember your writing in your newsletter about building muscle on caloric surplus days. Since the Cheat Day is pretty much by definition an excess calorie day, would it be a good day to do strength training? Or is it still better to do no working out at all – either interval cardio or resistance?

Thanks.

Hi-
I have been trying to shed some unwanted punds for a wedding in Mexico this March. I’m working out and trying really hard.. I’m just not seeing many results. Now, I have an even better motivator, I just recently got engaged and the wedding is October!!!! I could really use some extra help!!!
Thank you

I am so excited for the 24th when I can get my copy!!! I really can’t wait to start this program and see the me I imagine at 45 lbs lighter!!

I am in my mid 40’s and diabetic. I have tried a couple different weight loss plans out there but none have seemed to work for me. In reading your e-mails and watching your videos you seem to be a kind of guy who would not lead on or pray on people’s weaknesses. I am very desperate because I have almost 2 hundred pounds to loose. I have lost about 40 lbs but it has taken me about a year and a half to do it. With my health and weight it his hard for me to exercise. Though I do try about 3-4 times a week. I have the enthusiasm it takes but, I just don’t know what really works and what doesn’t .I would be so grateful to try your program.
