The 5-lb Frozen Veggie Method – I’ve personally used this method often and absolutely love it. Every week, just break open a 5-lb bag of frozen veggies and by the end of the week make sure it’s gone. Extremely simple, exceptionally accountable, and it works!
Juice it Up – On a similar note, here’s another quick way sneak in more veggies, especially for those who absolutely can’t stand ‘em! Juice ‘em! Even the strongest “veggie” tastes can be disguised in juice form with an apple or pear base. So much so, that apart from the color, you may not even realize they’re in there.
Fill Your Plate Half with Veggies – This one is for those who enjoy vegetables, yet still struggle to get the recommended number of servings each day. Try filling your dinner plate half with veggies from now on. You’ll get a good 3 servings of fibrous vegetables while lightening the overall caloric load of your meal. Great for health, and even better for fat loss.

When making stews or ground turkey chilli, I just load up with whatever veggies I have. I tend to just throw them in as I enjoy eating them, and the strong mexican spices really make them taste great. Alternatively, you could blend them up in the a sauce or stew and them add meat, beans, etc. Great for Low GI days.

i love my veggies and have no problem with getting them in.I have a problem getting all the protien 5x a day…how do you do it?? Specially the no carb breakfasts.All I can think of is eggs and quite frankly I’m sooooo over eggs is driving me crazy! please help if you can!

Every Sunday I go shopping and stock up on raw vegtables to eat for the week. I wash and cut them all up and store them in the fridge in a big tupperware bowl. When I pack my lunch (small insulated cooler with a frozen cold can) in the morning to go to work I fill up a zip lock bag full and take them with the rest of my lunch. If you don’t pack a lunch; do so, it keeps you away from the fast food places at lunchtime.

Pour olive oil in a container that you might normally put butter in.
Place it in the freezer overnight.
In the morning it will be too hard to spread so move it to the refridgerator.
It will then become spreadable.

@Nastase Raducu – Have you tried growing your own? Beg/borrow/steal a tomato and plant the seeds in a pot (eat the rest of the tomato!) – no garden required. Have friends plant other veggies and swop when you have to much – this is the African way.
